TOPIC: YOU ARE NOT ALONE
 September Monday 10th

TEXT: 1 Kings 19:1-4, 9-10
KEY VERSE: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10: 13

Are you feeling alone in righteousness? Do you sometimes get worried that you are standing alone on most issues, often taking an opposing stand from other people? It cannot be otherwise and I want to assure you that you are not alone. Other righteous men and women before you had taken similar stand, notwithstanding opposition of the multitude. Even now, saints all over the world are doing the same. You may be accused of overzealousness, don’t bother. They may call you names such as, holy, holy. Don’t worry. Believers all over the world are facing similar persecution and mockery from this sinful world. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man. It is better for you to be persecuted for righteousness sake than suffer the reproach of men because of sin.

1 Peter 4:12, 14-16  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Elijah continually lamented to God, “I am the only one left of your prophets and they seek my life to take it also.” He was wrong! He was not the only righteous prophet left in Israel. He was not the only one left that loved the Lord. He was not the only one left that shunned sin and yearned for righteousness. He was not the only one left that was being persecuted for righteousness’ sake. God told him, “I have reserved for Myself in Israel, 7,000 prophets whose knees have not bowed to Baal and whose mouth has not kissed him.” Hallelujah! Holy child of God, be encouraged in your pursuit of holiness. You are not alone. Hold fast to it and do not let go. It is your boarding pass into the heavenly chariot.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
