SEPTEMBER Friday 14
TEXT: Luke 13:23-24
KEY VERSE: I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 14

The devil is on rampage and men are careless and carefree. Why is the Devil walking up and down the earth (Job 1:7)? God is warning but men are not perceiving. The devil is busy but men are sleeping. Bible describes the Devil as an adversary who is roaming about seeking whom to devour. God is telling you “Be sober and vigilant” (1 Peter 5:8). Be vigilant because the Devil has entered everywhere. The devil is in government, in the family, schools, churches, media and everywhere to stop you from going to heaven. Resist him and be presented to God perfect because God cannot manage you. When a goat eats part of a mango and drops the remaining on the road, you don’t pick it up to eat.  God cannot take the remaining part of you that Satan has already abused. He will prefer to go empty handed than to carry a defiled person to heaven. Going to heaven requires holiness and in living a holy life you must pass through every test. You must carry out every assignment; you cannot overlook anything. If you commit a sin and cover it up, you have missed one step to heaven. If you fail a course in school, will you not reseat it before you graduate?

If you are going to heaven you cannot jump anything. Don't seek to hide anything, don't seek to cover anything. You must pass through all, you must carry out every commandment, you must do everything required as you are going. It is better you delay and get the matter settled than rush and bungle everything up. If you need to climb or descend a hill you take your time. Seek to know and keep all the commandments of God to qualify for heaven. Many have not known this, they have not understood holiness, they have not understood hell. The scripture warns against the use of ornament on your body, wearing trousers by women but you say, “In our church we wear earring, we wear trouser and do make up.” Is your church heaven? Is it your pastor or pastor's wife that will give you eternal life? If your church or pastor goes contrary to the scriptures, abandon your church and follow the scripture. Why must you follow your pastor and disobey God? Judgment is individual, you will not be judged as a church or family but as an individual. Quit any job that will compel you to disobey God in order to preserve yourself for heaven.

Thought for the day: Resist sin. Resist Satan. Strive for heaven.
Son for the day: Eternal life, I want to live eternal God save my soul
Bible reading for the day:
Proverbs 25-27; 2 Corinthians 6

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
