TOPIC: INDEPENDENCE FROM SIN
OCTOBER Monday 1st

TEXT: Romans 6: 6-16
KEY VERSE: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24: 47
Sin is a great taskmaster. You must desire to be set free from its power, passions and penalty. Independence from sin can only be obtained through Jesus Christ. Forgiveness of sin means cancelation of sin, removal of sin, the cleansing of sin, the change of life. From our key verse, and that repentance and remission or forgiveness of sin should be preached in His name among all nations. This which Jesus say we should preached, is it what somebody will confess today and tomorrow he goes back to the same thing? No. He that is born of God does not commit sin for his faith is in Him, he does not sin because he is born of God, that’s forgiveness of sins; your sins have been forgiven, you don’t sin anymore because you have become born again.
The Power of His word is In you, the spirit of God is in you, you don’t sin because you have become born again, your sins are forgiven. So, now a believer “I write unto you that ye may not sin, little children but if any sin; we have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ the righteous, He is the propitiation of our sins, not ours only but for the sins of the whole world”. Now, as a believer; if you go into error, you come back “God that thing I spoke there was not correct, I made a mistake: I feared and I told a lie, hay! It takes a weak believer to do that.” When you come and say “God forgive me”, he forgives you, and the power not to do that thing again has been put into you.
Inspired Thoughts On Sin: Do not commit sin, Do not hide sin, Do not encourage sin, Do not promote sin, Do not confess half sin, Do not defend sin, Do not refuse to judge sin; Sin in you must not give you rest till it is gone, Sin in you must be exposed, Sin in you must be rejected, Sin in you must be brought to Jesus, Sin in you must be destroyed, Sin in you must be replaced with Christ’s righteousness, Sin in temptation must be resisted firmly; Sin in others should attract your pity, Sin in others should attract your prayer, Sin in others should draw you closer, Sin in others should attract evangelism message, Sin in others should attract soul winning methods, Sin in others should make you spend on their salvation, Sin in others should make you despise persecution for their salvation.
Thought for the day: Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Song for the day: I am delivered praise the Lord
Bible reading for the day:
Isaiah 22-23; Ephesians 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
