TOPIC: DO WHATEVER HE TELLS YOU
SEPTEMBER Monday 17th

TEXT: Luke 5:5-6
KEY VERSE: Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. John 15: 14

Should a child argue with his father? Does it make sense? Is he wiser? If it is foolish to argue with your father, how much more to argue with your Creator! Can you teach Him knowledge or show him the way of understanding? (Read Isaiah 40:13-14). Never argue with your Creator. Whatever he says, do it. Even if it sounds stupid, still do it. Why? The foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of man. The worst of God is better than the best of man. Wise people know this truth about God and live by it. The reward of their wisdom is bountiful harvest they reap in this world and in life after.

When the wine finished at Cana wedding, Mary told the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.” In other words, don’t argue, don’t question it, don’t doubt it. The result was remarkable. The choicest wine emerged. Peter, an expert fisherman, had laboured all through the night but caught no fish. He prepared his net to go home, then Jesus stepped into his boat and commanded Peter to let down his net for a catch. Peter knew Jesus was not a fisherman, but he had witnessed something about Him that made him know that He was dealing with divinity. He responded, “Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” If it were another man, Peter would have told him, “Forget it, with all my years of experience in fishing, I know for sure there is no fish in this water today.” In faith, he obeyed. That is the point. The centurion knows this truth well. He sent messengers after Jesus, “Don’t bother to come to my house anymore. I know you are a man of authority. Just say the word and my daughter will be healed.”

Has God been speaking to you and you are resisting? Has he given you assignment to do in Holiness Revival Movement and you are dilly-dallying? Has he been warning you about sin in your life and you are not taking the matter serious? Until you start to obey you cannot fulfil destiny. Abram obeyed and became the father of many nations. Isaac obeyed and stayed back in the land of Gerar and became exceedingly rich and prosperous. Paul answered the call and became the greatest apostle. Believe, obey and fulfill destiny.

Thought for the day: To obey is better than sacrifice.
Song for the day: Believe it shall be well, believe in Jesus it shall be well
Bible reading for the day:
Ecclesiastes 1-3; 2 Corinthians 9

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
