TOPIC: DILIGENT HOLY LIFE SEPTEMBER Saturday 29th

TEXT: Hebrews 6:9-12
KEY VERSE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

Diligence means carefulness, thoughtfulness, thoroughness. Holiness is the life of God and diligence is required to live it. You are practicing it on earth in order to be with Him in eternity. A diligent holy life is a life that shuns sin, that is obedient and submissive to the word of God. You are practicing it here in anticipation of appearing before God in heaven.   All your focus is on heaven. All you are doing is for heaven. All roads in your life should lead to heaven. All activities in your life, all relationships should be geared towards heaven. Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” Do things appropriately towards people. Settle quarrels and differences without compromising on God's standard. This is holiness.

In our present world where people have forgotten about heaven, we still have a few who are conscious of it and working towards it. They know heaven is their home and are ready to sacrifice all for it. The thief on the cross spoke not more than ten words in less than 5 seconds and heaven opened for him. Two thieves were crucified with Jesus, one listened diligently and got to know by revelation that Jesus being crucified with them was actually his Creator and already heaven-bound. The other mocked and despised Him. One went to heaven and the other has been regretting his error for more than 2,000 years. Heaven is not an imagination. It is as real as the existence of Satan on earth. It is the abode of the eternal God and His saints. As the earth is full with human creatures and other architectural beauty so is heaven filled with angelic beings and marvelous creatures and creations. It is a place of perfect existence where saints go after leaving the earth.

Thought for the day: Let nothing distract you from the heavenly race.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
