ENDURE HARDNESS AS A GOOD SOLDIER OF CHRIST
AUGUST Thursday 23rd

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 11:23-28

KEY VERSE: If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Proverbs 24: 10

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” The devil is looking for you, like other believers. He comes like a roaring lion to devour you. Will you allow that? David resisted the lions that came for the sheep that were in his care. He told Saul, “Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them.” Are you a Christian?  You must resist Satan who prowls about looking for whom to devour. 1 Peter 5:9, “Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” The God of all grace allows a moment of suffering or hardness in your life. The sleep of a laborious man is sweet. Weeping may endure till night, but joy comes in the morning. For your shame you shall receive double portion of blessing. Don't collapse when the pains of life come your way. Jesus suffered hardness, Peter suffered hardness, Paul suffered hardness. God has one Son that has never sinned, who is Jesus, but He Has no Son that has never suffered.

Isaiah 53:1-12 is not a prophecy of peace or comfort but of sorrow because of what the Father had planned for His Beloved Son, “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Learn these things and do not end your journey halfway. Suffering builds into you the right thoughts of life. Suffering brings about perfection in your life and ministry. God moved Moses out of the comfort of Egypt to experience suffering in the wilderness for 40 years. Hebrews 2:10, “For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
