TOPIC: THE SECRET OF A PEACEFUL LIFE (3) – TRUST IN GOD
AUGUST Sunday 12th
TEXT: Isaiah 26:3-4
KEY VERSE: Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Isaiah 12: 2

Your trust in God will give you peace. Faith in God will put your mind at rest. Jesus says in John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.” Is something troubling you or threatening your life? Put your faith in God and believe He will handle the situation to your satisfaction. Without God’s intervention, you have no hope because you have no power of your own to handle the situation. The faith and trust you have in God will give you peace, but if you continue to think about the problem that is threatening you it will give you fear. Do not start to think, “Can it be solved? Can it be done?” Just put your trust in God, have faith, and leave the problem before Him.

God will help you in your future plans. God will pay your school fees, God will locate your husband, God will provide your wife, God will give you children, God will give you money, just be peaceful and move on. Faith in God will quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. Have faith in God and it will block those arrows, it will quench those fires and they will not reach you.  Trust is a shield that is protecting you. Have you been praying for long? Don’t worry, the Egyptians you see today you shall see them no more. I remember some years back when I suffered great attacks of the devil. It got to a point that if I didn’t pray I knew battle was waiting for me in my sleep. Sometimes, I prayed and prayed but the power to pray through didn’t come; I would become tired and sleep off. When I woke up I must pray to clear the battle of the night. It was not easy but I kept meditating on the scripture that says all the enemies that surround me will be as nothing, I will look for them and not find them (Isaiah 41:11-12).

Always trust in God, always look up to him. Confess that you have no helper but Him. Say it to God, say it to Satan, say it to your neighbour, say it to your children, say it to your friends, say it everywhere and God will help you. Faith makes God to be happy with you. When you tell the devil to his face that God is your helper, God will arise to justify His word.

Thought for the day: Those who trust in the Lord will be like mount Zion that cannot be shaken.
Song for the day: Believe it shall be well
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 93-95; Romans 11:22-36

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
