TOPIC: MANY ADVERSARIES AGAINST THE HEAVEN-BOUND CHRISTIAN
 AUGUST Tuesday 14th

TEXT: Revelation 3:7-8
KEY VERSE: For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. 1 Corinthians 16: 9

There is no easy passage to heaven. Adversaries are many and Satan is the principal one. Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 2:18, “Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.” Satan is but a thief who, “Cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Satan will want to sabotage your heavenly journey using the following:
1. Your Heart. Satan will make you to love the things of the world, including jewelries, money. Bible says where a man’s treasure is, there is his heart.
2. Your Parents. Parents will threaten to stop paying your school fees, to disown you unless you do their unholy bidding. The aim of Satan is to use them to get you out of the way to heaven.
3. Your Business Or Profession. Telling lies, cutting corners, cheating to make more money
4. Your Marriage. Husbands speak with the voice of Herod and now determine whether you will go to: heaven or not.
5. Issues Of Children. Children are not higher than heaven. You don’t need their birth certificates to enter heaven.
6. Church Authority. Know that membership of a church is not marriage. If your denomination becomes an obstruction, take your exit and preserve your heaven.
7. Friends. Avoid the corruptive influence of friends. Do not succumb to peer pressure.
8. The Society. The world is a corrupt system. If you follow the taste, fashion and language of the world, you will be distracted from heaven.

The battle ground is your heart. If today, you can change your mindset you will overcome the adversaries. Romans 12:1-2, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Thought for the day: Adversaries will come, but victory is assured if you remain steadfast in faith.
Song for the day: I will exalt you Lord for thou has lifted me above my enemies, your banner over me is love.
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 99-102; Romans 13

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
