TOPIC: WOMEN ARE ALSO CALLED INTO MINISTRY
AUGUST FRIDAY 3rd

TEXT: Judges 4:4-5
KEY VERSE: And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3: 15

The call into ministry is not gender-specific. The woman is called just as the man without any limitation in the service of God. As pastors, women can even administer church discipline to the erring ones. Deborah, Huldah were female pastors by divine call. She must do it without fear of person or tradition of men. Yet she must not become proud or usurp the authority of man in the church (Philippians 2:3). God ministers to the need of His people using both male and female ministers. Miriam was a prophetess who spoke of God to men (Numbers 12:1-2; Micah 6:3-4). Deborah was also a prophetess and judge in Israel. Both men and women came to Deborah for judgment and she taught them the truth, the word of God and word of righteousness. Huldah was another Old Testament prophetess (2 Chronicles 34:21-28).

The woman ministry is superior to marriage. Submission to husband is not a reason to prevent you from serving God who owns your soul. Priscilla submitted to her husband yet served God well. Same goes for Deborah and Huldah. God has given you ministry but He wants holiness in you. Holiness is the qualification for entering heaven, not Christian service. Women ministers that that reject teachings on adornments, makeups etc. are serving God quite alright but heaven is not for them. Do your duty as a Christian wife to your husband otherwise forget about heaven. Some people say you must be ordained to operate in office. It is a lie. They want to pour oil on your head. It is all a lie. Jesus says you are already ordained to preach this gospel and fulfill your calling. John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” You already have anointing that abides in you. That's your ordination. 1 John 2:27, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Thought for the day: Woman! Rise up and fulfill destiny in the service of God.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
