TOPIC: EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER FOR SANCTIFICATION AND HOLY LIVING
AUGUST Sunday 19th

TEXT: Proverbs 2:3-5

KEY VERSE: Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11: 24

Seek God in prayer for your sanctification and righteousness to pave your way to heaven.  Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” God wants to give you holiness and heaven but He says, “You must call and pray unto Me and seek Me that I may grant your request.” Leaders are called for a greater task. Your people must not see sin in your life. Animosity, bitterness, unforgiving spirit, lies, anger must not be found in you. All these things will dim your light and people will take note of it.  Your claim to higher calling and holiness is either justified or nullified by your lifestyle. Your wife, your children, your neighbours will all know if you are not worthy of the high calling. You cannot deceive all the people all the time. Let not your life bring reproach to the Name of the Lord.

Ephesians 4:1, I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. Cry unto the Lord to make you holy. God says If you pray you will receive. Holiness is your credential as a minister of God. When you introduce yourself as a Born Again Christian and especially as a minister of God, people expect to see that special trait of holiness in you. It is the hallmark of a Christian. It is what distinguishes you from others in the world. You may be an eloquent preacher or a miracle worker, without holiness, you are a spiritual carcass. Jesus wants you to pray fervently for sanctification that you may live holy and bring glory to His Name. Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Thought for the day:   Pray-in your sanctification.
Song for the day:   Prayer is the key, Prayer is the master key
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 112-115; 1 Corinthians 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
