TOPIC: GOD'S PROMISES AND COMMITMENT TO FAITHFUL WIDOWS

TEXT: ISAIAH 54:4-9
4. “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
6. For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
7. For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
9. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.”

KEY VERSE: PSALM 103:4 “Who redeemth thy life from destruction; who crowth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies.

The scripture says, ‘fear not’. The first thing that strikes a woman when the husband dies is fear. She will think within her, ‘How shall it be?’ Your God says fear not, say unto the righteous woman, it shall be well with her. So do not be afraid. Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed.

The second thing that come to a woman after her husband has died is shame. She thinks within her, ‘I shall be ashamed.’ She is afraid of shame; but God is saying, you shall not be ashamed, neither be thou confounded; for thou shall not be put to shame. No man shall arise over you to do something that will bring you to shame. It shall not happen.

Yes! For thou shall forget the shame of thy youth and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood anymore. God will take care of you as your new husband. He has been your father and when your husband died, he assumed the office of a husband.

By the way he will take care of you, you will not remember the reproaches of widowhood. What others cry for, you will never cry about it. The Lord is saying that you might have been a widow for some years and you have suffered the reproaches, abuses, and oppressions of life, but because you have remembered to bring God to replace your husband that has died;

He said, all those sufferings of widowhood shall be wiped away from you.  You will not remember them again. Some faults may be in your life and you have been crying and saying God did not answer your prayers; but if you come into God’s way, into holiness of life, you will see that great mercy and kindness shall be poured upon you.

Thought for the day: Widow woman come to  Jesus, He will never abandon you.

Song for the day: He can never, ever fail, He can never, ever fail, Jesus the same forever…

Bible reading for the day: John 1-2

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.  13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14. If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it. KEY VERSE: JOHN 14:14 “If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it” “Ask in My name” means ask in My place, for My sake, for My glory, as My representative. Whatever resources you need for the work of God, ask and I will supply the materials and resources you need to do the work; to live the Christian life; to make you evangelize and be fruitful in life.  Ask for what you need to make you a better Christ...

TOPIC: HOW TO BE SANCTIFIED (PART 2)

HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT WORLDWIDE HOREMOW DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR. DATE: FRIDAY JULY 17, 2026. TOPIC: HOW TO BE SANCTIFIED (PART 2) TEXT: HEBREWS 11:1-6 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 4. By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligent...
