The creditor forgave the servant a huge debt when he pleaded with him for mercy but surprisingly the same servant that had just received mercy refused to pardon a fellow servant that owed him little. This can be likened to the great mercy that believers receive from God at salvation where all sins and trespasses are pardoned. Instead of paying the death penalty, God forgives the penitent sinner for Christ’s sake. God led this creditor to consider that the servant may never be able to pay his debts all his lifetime. The woman is unique in creation. God is glorified by her uniqueness. She was created to be a wife to man and to be a mother of children. It was sin that adversely affected the woman and has made her a person of shame and grief to God, to herself and to man today. Men at least maintain their natural dignity and make the woman to honour them. But women have lost theirs. However in Christ there is restoration. The woman was made after the man, from a rib of the man. God built into her the feminine nature, which is different from the masculine nature of man. The New Testament calls her “The Weaker Vessel”. It is instructive to state that, Israel has been scattered since 70AD that is after the death of Christ. Since then the citizens of the Jewish nation have been scattered abroad all over the world. Israel regrouped and became a nation in 1948. God in His mercy gave divine revelation to some chosen ones among men in our generation. Some of these were taken to hell to hear some of the things that condemned people to it. They had the opportunity to speak with some victims of hell. Some of the women now in hell confessed that their use of trousers when they were alive on earth was one of the things that condemned them to everlasting hellfire. Some of these were ignorant of this evil until they died and entered hell, while some knew the truth, but hardened their hearts.
