TOPIC: LYING LIPS THE LORD DETESTS           AUGUST WEDNESDAY 1st TEXT: Psalm 120:2-3 KEY VERSE: Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight. Proverbs 12: 22 Psalm 12:1-4 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? Many people profit in lies, even giving lying records. Sometimes they use people to lie so that it cannot be traced to them. Church pastors, treasurers and other workers are prone to Satan's temptation on money. Whenever other people’s money comes into your hand many evil thoughts will flood your heart. Satan will bring sickness because of the money

TOPIC: BEAR THE ASSAULT FOR THE SAKE OF CHRIST AND YOUR HEAVEN JULY TUESDAY 31st TEXT: Luke 18:31-34 KEY VERSE: But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled. 1 Peter 3: 14 Self-defense is a natural instinct. Sometimes it is impulsive. You see something coming towards your eye or an object thrown at you, your impulsive response is to block it. It is indeed good to be protective of oneself, but it is not all the time you have to do that. Sometimes you have to absorb insults and assaults of men as though you are vulnerable and weak. Jesus teaches that if you are struck on the right cheek you should turn the other. This is not because you are weak or cannot fight back or retaliate; but to show to your adversary that your weapon of war is not carnal. Jesus lived by what he taught. In our reading text (Luke 18:31-34), Jesus predicted what He was going to pass thr

TOPIC: DILIGENT HOLINESS OF HEAVEN-BOUND WIDOW JULY MONDAY 30th TEXT: 2 Kings 4:1-7 KEY VERSE: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1: 27 We see them all around us but we scarcely know what they are passing through. Jesus who says I am a husband to the widow understands better. God gives them special attention. Widows who suffer beyond measure do so because they have not known His way. The circumstance of life has put them under pressure and many of them miss heaven in the process. God wants to open your eyes and teach you truth about widowhood. He knows the way through the widowhood. He knows how to bring you out of the wilderness of widowhood. In our reading text, we see the burden of the widow in a practical way. Apart from losing her husband she had to raise up her children alone. Compounding he

Proverbs 8: 33 Once Gideon was sure of his calling, he was set for battle. God had told him you will not conquer with many soldiers but with just 300 you will defeat the dreaded Midianite army. Gideon said to his followers, “Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.” (Judges 7:17). Gideon was telling his people, “Do as you see me do because I am doing it by divine instruction and he that commanded me to do it will produce the desired result.” The widow complained to Prophet Elijah, my prophet husband is dead and the creditor has come to ransom my two sons for the debt he owed. Prophet Elisha told her, “Borrow empty vessels from your neighbour.” She did and empty vessels turned into wealthy vessels. Jes

Job 16: 2 Comfort is something needed especially in times of trouble and tribulation. You need comforting words and encouragement to lift up your dampened spirit. A bereaved woman that has just lost her husband or child needs to be comforted so that her pain of loss can be reduced. A man that has just lost his job needs comforting words to give him hope and let him know that it is not the end of the world. Men rally round during times of calamity to provide comfort, which to some extent are helpful. However, the best source of comfort at this time is the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Jesus is the Spirit of comfort.  John 14:16, “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever.” As our High Priest, Jesus knows our pains and und

TOPIC: AMERICA IS RULED BY THE SAME PRINCIPLES EVERYWHERE JULY FRIDAY 27th TEXT: Revelation 14:9-11 KEY VERSE: And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Revelation 18: 2 This is a continuation of Jesus’ revelation on America and Christianity. I saw demons in shopping malls, plaza and business centers in various capacities, acting as cashiers and big business men. I saw demons controlling big industries, companies and commerce of the nation. On the outside, looked like human beings but inside them they were demons. I saw at the same time what was happening in different places. The principles and practices of government were the same everywhere. When customers came to the counters they met with these demons. The customers were transacting freely and happily. These d

TOPIC: FRUITFUL EVANGELISM BY THE BUSY CHRISTIAN JULY THURSDAY 26th TEXT: Acts 26:16-18 MARK 16: 15 – 18 KEY VERSE: Thus saith God the Lord … I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thy hand and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the gentiles. Isaiah 42: 5-6 Every Christian, irrespective of secular assignments and spiritual commitments is bound by the divine instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ to embark on evangelism. The Lord expects all his children to take the gospel to every living soul in the four corners of the world. But we find out that people in both paid- and self-employment often struggle for time to engage in evangelism. They are too busy either working to satisfy their employers, waking up early to go to work and coming back late from work, or in the case of the self-employed, too busy making money or pursuing contracts. But the truth is that no matter how bus

TOPIC: THE AGENDA OF GOD, THE BEHAVIOR OF MAN  JULY WEDNESDAY 25th TEXT: Genesis 6:5-6 KEY VERSE: Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. Ecclesiastes 7: 29 God has a wonderful plan for you. He wants to prosper you and take you to a glorious end. Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God wants to give you life abundant, but Satan also has his own agenda, which is to steal, to kill and to destroy every good plan of God in your life. John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. God incarnated as man in the Person of Jesus to destroy the works of Satan in your life (1 John 3:8) and after doing this, Jesus went ahead to heaven to prepare a place for your

TOPIC: THE CHRISTIAN IN THE WORLD JULY TUESDAY 24th TEXT: Ephesians 2:1-3 KEY VERSE: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4: 24 There are two types of world. There is the natural habitat of man and animals created and owned by God. Satan came into the world and infected the natural world with sin, rebellion and hatred of God to form his own world of which he is the god (2 Corinthians 4:4).  This world system is an institution of Satan where people are taught to do his will. It is an evil system that loves iniquity. This is the world system the bible instructs us to distance ourselves from. This corrupt world system is a school for evil character molding that is operated by Satan with demons as its teachers. Since the fall, every man and woman has gone through the school of Satan where iniquity is taught and practiced to the wrath of God. The only exception was Jesus

TOPIC: REMOVE THE OBSTACLE TO YOUR HEAVENLY RACE (2) – UNBELIEF JULY MONDAY 23rd TEXT: 2 Thessalonians 2:12-13 KEY VERSE: Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief. Hebrews 4: 6 The Lord has been promising the Israelites I am taking you to a land flowing with milk and honey. He gave them able leaders and showed signs and wonders. He asked them to send spies to the land. They came back but doubted God and likened themselves to grasshoppers. They did not believe so they perished in the wilderness. Hebrews 3:7-12 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.  Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have

TOPIC: THREE BASIC BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES ON WEALTH JULY SUNDAY 22nd TEXT: Luke 12:15-21 KEY VERSE: Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches. Jeremiah 9: 23 Jesus, the apostles and even the prophets of Old Testament times all preached against materialism, but that is not to say true believers cannot possess wealth. A comprehensive review of relevant biblical passages reveals three basic principles about wealth. 1. Wealth in itself is not expressly condemned in scripture. In Genesis 13:2 the Bible says, “Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” Similarly, righteous Job was a man of great influence and riches as recorded in Job 1:3, “His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was th

Deuteronomy 28: 13 How many times have you dreamed of progressing in the work of God, your family or community and your only problem is lack of funds? You have prayed and fasted yet there is no progress. It is only dream, dream, dream! You know that in order to progress in life you must prosper. But “how and when” is the question. A staff of HOREMOW had revelation where he sat for exam and noticed after submitting his answer script that he wrote another person's name on it. He tried to retrieve the paper to write his name but the invigilator refused, saying, “What you have written, you have written.” Jesus appeared to him and asked him, “Do you know why you wrote another person's name? JULY WEDNESDAY 18 TEXT: Philippians 4:4-6 KEY VERSE: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14: 27 The peaceful life is a qualitative life. It is the life God wants you to have. First of all, God wants you to enjoy with Him, which means you are not afraid of God because of Judgement or condemnation. Rather, you are at peace with God and you think peacefully towards Him. After this, God wants you to have peace with yourself. With a peaceful heart, you are not afraid or disturbed or tensed by any situation or condition. Day and night in every circumstance of life you are peaceful even when there is commotion in the town or obvious danger around you. You will be peaceful like Elisha. When his servant said “Alas! On Sunday, there was a football match between France and Croatia. I'm sure a lot of you watched it. France won 4-2, I'd like to share something around that. When next a game is on, take a look at the players, the referees, the linesmen and the spectators. Out of all these category of people, the only people who don't wear a wrist watch are the players on the field . They get into the pitch and play their hearts out knowing that even though they don't know the exact time, the exact minute the game will end and the whistle will be blown, they are conscious of the fact that the game will definitely end when the one holding the time blows his whistle. I liken this to our race here on earth. We are on the pitch of play⛹🏽 called life. And even though we all wear wrist⌚ watches, they are just a man-made devise to guide our daily activities and give us a sense of timing. The one who holds time is somewhere waiting and watching us play our game on the pitch of life. He

TOPIC: BE YOUR BROTHER'S KEEPER JULY TUESDAY 17th TEXT: Galatians 6:1-3  KEY VERSE: Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Galatians 6: 1 Many of the Lord's soldiers are fatally wounded on account of money. We must take measures of restoring fallen ones in wisdom and meekness. Don't allow yourself to fall with the fallen. Proverbs 27:23, “Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.” As a pastor or shepherd, it is your responsibility to know how your flocks are doing and shield them from what may make them fall. Are they being well rewarded? 2 Corinthians 8:16-23, “But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you. TOPIC: YOU ARE EITHER SEEING A VISION OR LOSING ONE JULY MONDAY 16th TEXT: Colossians 1:28-29 KEY VERSE: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29: 18 Vision could refer to a supernatural revelation through dreams, trance or religious ecstasy. Another definition of vision is a picture or idea you have in your mind of yourself, your business or anything that is going to happen. Whichever definition you are looking at, one thing that is clear is that a vision positions you for the future. A vision helps you to navigate life better.  The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but life without a purpose or a vision. To live a purposeless or visionless life is to reduce yourself to any inanimate object like a stone or wood. Those who lack vision live by the whims and caprices of other people. Every serious Christian must have a vision and the primary vision should be on going to he

TOPIC: YOU WILL BE HATED FOR YOUR NEW WAY OF LIFE JULY SUNDAY 15th TEXT: John 15:18-21 KEY VERSE: For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8: 18 Dissociating yourself from people of the world will make them hate you for a number of reasons. They will hate you because your life will constantly challenge their pleasure and indulgences. Being in darkness they will be threatened by your light. You will become a threat to them because you will not cooperate with them in their evil schemes. They will envy your righteousness because you are living a clean and exemplary life that is unattainable by them. Do not bother when you are persecuted for your righteousness. TOPIC: DIFFERENT KINDS OF EVANGELISM APPROACH JULY FRIDAY 13th TEXT: Matthew 9:35-38 KEY VERSE: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16: 15 Evangelism is the act of convincing people to become Christians. It is a soul-winning strategy, whereby a Christian tries to persuade an unbeliever to become a Christian, by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and convincing him/her to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, through peaceful persuasion. There are different methods of evangelism: i. Personal Evangelism (Mk.6:7; Lk.10:1): This is person-to-person interaction, whereby a Christian engages an unbeliever in biblical discussion in order to convince him or her, to believe on Jesus Christ, and accept Him as his/her Lord and personal Saviour. ii. Mass Evangelism. people going out at a time, to preach the gospel to people in the market place, motor park, on the street, community

TOPIC: THE THINGS HUSBANDS LIKE          JULY THURSDAY 12th TEXT: Proverbs 16:19-24 KEY TEXT: He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he. Proverbs 16: 20 A good wife should know how to delight her husband. This is profitable to her soul and pleasing to God (Proverbs 16:20). Here are some hints on how a woman can delight her husband and build a happy home: 1. Good Food. It is said that the way to a man’s heart is his stomach. If you don't know how to cook good food, humble yourself and learn more in order to satisfy him. 2. Sex. Your body belongs to your husband, so stop denying him your body so as not to push him to Jezebels outside. Don't be like a log of wood in bed. When you respond you are communicating your loyalty and attraction to him. 3. Cleanliness. This is not limited to yourself but your home, including toilets, washing of plates, removing cobwebs, washing cloth

We arrived at Dallas, Texas, United States of America on Monday 10th July 2017, for Holiness Revival Movement National Women Conference. We were conveyed to the hotel for our accommodation. In a night vision, Jesus gave me the following revelation on America. It appeared in the vision that there was war going on. I saw people in different kinds of bondage and chains. TOPIC: DILIGENT PURSUIT FOR CHRIST'S SALVATION   JULY MONDAY 9th TEXT: Philippians 3:12-15 KEY VERSE: Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2: 12 What is salvation? Salvation is the first work of grace that God has done to mankind. It is the gift of God. It came by the sacrifice of God. It is full and free. We only need to confess and forsake our sins and believe in Christ to obtain salvation. God has revealed Himself and told you all you need to be saved. Harden not your heart, but consider yourself to be privileged. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 139:23-24, Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. TOPIC: HANDLING CHURCH CONFLICTS IN MARRIAGE JULY SUNDAY 8th TEXT:  Acts 5:27-29 KEY VERSE: I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Luke 17: 34 Church conflict arises in marriage when the couple worship in different churches and there is disagreement over denominational doctrines. Many believers are of the opinion that since the couple is one in flesh and God has placed the man as head of the family, the two should worship in the husband’s church. While it is true that husband and wife are one in flesh, they are NOT one in soul. God expects each of them to understand Him personally and deal with Him individually. The heavenly race is personal and not collective like a relay race. The key verse of today shows that at the second coming of the Lord, while husband and wife are sleeping together in one bed, one shall be taken and the other left behind. Each person w

In the Holy Bible you will find statistics of number of people, family members, genealogy, first born, meetings and so on. For instance, it tells us five thousand people ate the five loaves apart from women and children, five hundred people saw Jesus ascend into heaven, two people were on the way to Emmaus when resurrected Jesus met them, one hundred and twenty people were in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost.  Also, you will find out in the scriptures that records of finances were diligentl

Matthew 28: 19 Before the coming of Jesus to the world, there were teachers and preachers of the law of God. In Jesus days, the scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees were blind guides. When Jesus looked at them, he sighed and told his disciples, the harvest is plenteous but labourers are few. He was talking about labourers in the like of Jesus and his disciples, not the Pharisees and Sadducees. Even now, ministers are few. You see churches and different kinds of people with white collar as ministers but most are blind guides. They gather people leading them nowhere because they themselves don't know the way. TOPIC: HOW TO MANAGE PROSPERITY AND MAKE IT A BLESSING JULY WEDNESDAY 4th TEXT: 1 Timothy 6:17-19 KEY VERSE: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1: 2 Prosperity in the hands of a believer is a blessing if properly managed. It is the desire of God that we prosper in all areas of life and he has made provisions for that. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Prosperity responds to the principles of divine blessing if we are properly guided. Here are some biblical principles that will guide us. 1. We must acknowledge that God is the Creator of all that we have. Whether we are rich or poor, we must acknowledge God’s provision in our lives. We are stewards of His creation. The whole earth and everything in it is the Lord’s, we are only caretakers of His treasure (Ps. 24:1). 2. We must
