How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?  In today’s devotional text, we saw Jesus walking on water and doing what was humanly impossible to do. So it is with sin. It is generally believed among men, even among many churches, that it is humanly impossible to live above sin. But Jesus is telling you today that He walked on water without sinking, you can live victoriously in this world as a Christian without sinning.  The earth is likened to the sea covered with the waters of sin. As Jesus beckoned on Peter to come over and he, like Jesus, walked on water without sinking, you too can live in this world without sin by the power of Jesus that is in you.
