TESTIMONY OF SUPERNATURAL PROTECTION WEDNESDAY MARCH 1 TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 1: 26 – 29 Key verse: “Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;” Psalms 103: 4 The Lord delivered a State Coordinator of Horemow and his children from sudden death by averting what would have been a ghastly accident with a fully loaded cement trailer. He was driving on the express way, with his children in the car, but was completely unaware that a fully loaded trailer at top speed was just about to climb over his car and crush them. As he was driving along after negotiating a bend, he heard an audible voice telling him to look now into your rear mirror! As he did so, he saw, to his amazement that the trailer was just about to climb his car. Immediately and instinctively, he placed his feet flat on the accelerator pedal and the vehicle suddenly surged forward with incredible speed. Right in front of him on th

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28 TEXT: PSALM 73:18-19, HEBREWS 12:14 Key verse: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” Mathew 10:28. Let us take a lesson today from the state of the damned. “As we continued walking with the Lord, I saw a very big column filled with worms. Around it was a slide made of red-hot metal. On this column there was a brightly lit billboard that could be seen from anywhere. The bill board read, ‘Welcome all liars and gossipers.’ This began their torment. I just want to tell you that Heaven and Hell are even more real than this physical world that we know. It is here where you decide what direction you want to go; to spend eternity with Jesus or to a burning hell. The Lord kept saying to us, ‘without holiness no man will see me, without holiness no man will see Me.’ As we continued, we saw thou

But where are the nine?” Luke 17:17. It is common for men to display ingratitude over kindness received in life due to their impure heart and ignorance of life. On the contrary, God commands true Christians to be thankful to Him for everything and to their fellow men for any kindness they receive in word and deed. We shall consider cases in scripture where men manifested ingratitude, whereas the godly ones manifested gratitude. It is evil to respond with wickedness to an act of pure love! Ten lepers pleaded with Jesus to heal them. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priest. On the way they were healed. One returned to give thanks. The others did not. Jesus wondered at their ingratitude. What was responsible for this? They had unthankful hearts due to the presence of sin. May be they were unthankful

FACE YOUR MOUNTAIN AND REMOVE IT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 26 TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 28:1-13 Key verse:“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” Mark 11:23. Patience, endurance and courage are very essential in life. A believer facing some difficulties in life will have to encourage himself. However, you need to examine well the matter you are passing through in order to know what you are expected to do about the problem. You may be waiting and enduring in your problem due to ignorance, fear, indecision or laziness. What is required is a right action to be taken. Arise for action and heaven shall support you and others will be blessed by you. Jesus revealed that believers are imparted with the power of victory over Satan and his evil kingdo

GODLY RELATIONSHIP AND AN ACCEPTABLE SERVICE SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25 TEXT: MATTHEW 5:20–24 Key verse: “But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire” Matthew 5:22. The Lord has revealed the mind of God and the verdict of heaven on anger in our relationships. The Pharisees were only committed to external acts of worship but they were not concerned about the state of their hearts. The internal state of mind and attitude towards their fellowmen were not considered as essential to their worship of God. While their hearts burned with the fire of anger and hatred, they continued with their activities. Neither did they think of other sins that anger produces such as; hatred, malice, revenge, strife, contention, injustice, violence, slande

SELF DENIAL AND VICTORY OVER SELF FRIDAY FEBRUARY 24 TEXT: MATTHEW 16:24-26 Key verse: “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” Matthew 16:24. Self in the life of any human being either believer or unbeliever is a reigning monarch that does not recognize the authority of another king in earth or in heaven. Along with its ally, the flesh, it lusts against the spirit and makes obedience to God very difficult. Its agitations, ambitions and aspirations are always contrary to the word and will of God. When it is permitted to reign, it breeds carnality and sin. Self is the greatest cause of defeat, backsliding and lack of spiritual progress in the lives of all Christians. Therefore, every believer that would live an overcoming life and make steady progress in the faith must not only deny but dethrone and deal a death blow to self. The self-life is deceptive and

THE LOVE OF GOD WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 22 TEXT: 1 JOHN 3:1-3, LUKE 15:11-24 Key verse: “Behold, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…”1 John 3:1 Our God is a lover. He created you in love, He made you as an object of love. His plan is to love you always and to love you forever. He built this love life into you so that you can respond in love to Him. You are unable to love Him now because of the effect of sin in your heart. Because He needs your love so much, He has made provision to remove sin from your heart so that you can love him freely and fully. He gave you the privilege to exist alongside with his great and vast creation. He made you in a special way, in a wonderful way. Because your heart is darkened by sin and your spiritual eyes are blinded by Satan so you may not know Him, He has further demonstrated His love toward you by sending you His only Son, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus

For her price is far above rubies” Proverbs 31:10. The woman is unique in creation. The Bible calls her the weaker vessel, maybe referring to her delicate and soft nature. Her feminine nature requires feminine attire for proper clothing. She should dress in such a way that her delicate body parts and nakedness are not exposed to corrupt the thoughts and spirit of man. Women now prefer independent life from men by refusing to marry or stay in their husband’s house, behaving like men, putting on attires of men, exposing their nakedness to attract men, using all kinds of cosmetics and hair-dos for beauty and have become Satan’s instrument to spread sin and damn human souls. Please change and put on your personality and the dignity of woman-hood. The woman must turn to Jesus Christ and be a daughter of the living Go

STRONG DRINK SUNDAY FEBRUARY 19 TEXT: PROVERBS 23:29-35 Key verse: “…Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” 1 CORINTHIANS 6:10. Two types of wine are stated in scripture; the non-alcoholic and the alcoholic. Paul instructed Timothy to take the unfermented, non-alcoholic wine, for his stomach ache and often infirmity. Jesus turned water into this kind of wine. The other wine is strong drink, called fermented wine and contains alcohol. It is intoxicating liquor. The intoxicating wine makes one a mocker, raging, deceitful, makes one a fool, it brings woes, sorrow, contention, causes babbling, wounds, ulcers, cancers, other sicknesses. It makes the eyes red, it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder to their spirit and body. It is poisonous and leads to lust and immorality. It leads to perverse speech, it causes reeling to and fro, it makes one unconscious of his envir

MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18 TEXT: ISAIAH 55:6-9 Key verse: “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen” Matthew 20:16. Jesus did not bring denomination to this world. What He brought was Salvation, Faith, Holiness, Righteousness, Peace, Joy, Love, Unity or one accord of the body of Christ known as Christianity (Church) and the gospel of the reality of Heaven and hell fire. Therefore follow the footsteps of Jesus alone and look unto Jesus who died for you on the cross of Calvary. He is the author and the finisher of our faith, the Bishop of your soul. Do not be astonished why great men and women of God are doubting and fighting the revelation of Heaven and hell fire by the Holy Spirit of God that is going round to deliver multitudes from the wicked hands of the false prophets before the rapture will take place. That was the reason why Jesus said that, many that were first sh

BE RICH IN GOOD WORKS THURSDAY FEBRUARY 16 TEXT: JAMES 5:1-6 Key verse: “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 1Timothy 6:17-18. God is a defense for those that trust in Him. Money also poses to be a defense to the rich. Reject the defense offered by money and wealth which inspires pride, arrogance and contempt of the law. Trust in God makes you meek, careful, humble, gentle and righteous. Trust in God keeps you truly protected and peaceful. Money and riches are temporal. They can vanish anytime. To boast because of them is as one with a closed fist and boasts that he has enclosed much air in his hand. At any time he opens his hand he sees nothing. Trust in God when things are shaking, going down or going up. Trust Him

THE PRINCIPLE AND PRACTICE OF TRUTHFULNESS WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 15 TEXT: MATTHEW 5:33-37 Key verse(s): “But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shall thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black” Matthew 5:34-36 False swearing was forbidden in the Old Testament, but now, every kind of swearing is forbidden by our Lord Jesus Christ. He mentioned several forms of swearing, and forbade them all. Then He prescribed simple forms of affirmation or denial as; yes, yes or no, no. Every form of swearing, however solemn or true, is forbidden to a true believer in Christ. A simple word of affirmation or denial, calmly repeated, is a sufficient bond of truth. Christians should not yield to the evil custom of swearing, however great the pressure. Before Christ came, taking an

They were jumping widely over the fire. The Lord looked at us and said, ‘Look, these are the wages for the dancers. Let us take a lesson from the sad state of damned dancers. “We then got far away from there and arrived at a place with giant doors. As we approached them, they opened for us. On the other side we saw a giant cavern. As I looked up I saw different color lights were moving like a cloud of smoke. Suddenly, we heard music; salsa, ballenato, rock, and different kinds of popular music that people hear on the radio. The Lord made a movement with His hand, and we saw millions and millions of people hung up with chains in their hands. They were jumping widely over the fire. The Lord looked at us and said, ‘Look, these are the wages for the dancers.’ They had to jump widely up and down

KEY OF LIFE IN YOUR HAND MONDAY FEBRUARY 13 TEXT: MATTHEW 16:16-19 Key verse:“And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder, so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open” Isaiah 22:22. The Christian life shows that the key of your life is in your hands. Therefore if you prosper in the Christian life, all other area in your life will also prosper. This is because the Christian life dominates and rules over every part of your life. The LORD has left the management of your Christian life in your hand as well as the master so as to lead you to Heaven. This means that you are a leader. If you are not a leader over a group of people or an assembly, then you are a leader over yourself. To be able to lead, he made you the master of your Christian life to lead you to Heaven. He has given you the means of salvation. The means of salvation that will help lead you to Heaven as well asin this life ha

GOD’S WORD TO THE RICH IN CHRIST SUNDAY FEBRUARY 12 TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 8:18, Luke 12:32-35 Key verse: “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it” Proverbs 10:22. The Lord is the One that makes His children rich in this world. He gives the power, privilege, wisdom, and grace to make wealth to His children. Not all are materially rich as we can see in scripture and in real life. But in the body of Christ there are brethren who are financially and materially rich. God knows the blessings of riches and the destructive force of riches. When riches and wealth are handled well, they give earthly and true eternal blessings. However when material riches and wealth are not subjected to the word of God in their uses and management, they result in all kinds of miseries and the everlasting damnation of hell fire. James 5:1-6, Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are

CARE AND HELP AMONG BRETHREN FRIDAY FEBRUARY 10 TEXT: ACTS 11:28-30 Key verse: “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith” Galatians 6:10. Believers are exhorted to do good to all men in the world. Through our good works and benevolence many sinners and religious men and women will be attracted to Jesus and gospel doors will be opened for us in their lives. In this same way believing wives are instructed to be obedient and kind to their unbelieving husbands. However, the apostle showed that more attention should be given to the poor and needy among the saints. Be concerned for the less privileged brethren. Strengthen them as much as you can that they may enjoy Jesus as you do. Provide them money, wears, food, sponsorship, and medical care. Marry for them if you can. Be willing that God may use you to fulfill His promise or promises in their lives. The early church b

THE POWER OF SALVATION THURSDAY FEBRUARY 9 TEXT: ROMANS 10:1-13 Key verse: “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” Romans 9:15-16. God is the foundation and basis of man’s salvation. He accomplished the salvation of man in Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. The apostles stressed the importance of salvation through Jesus when they said, “neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven…”. Christ is the sole source of our salvation via His sinless life and His substitutionary atonement; He shed his blood for the remission of our sins. Only a perfect, complete and incorruptible righteousness can secure a perfect and complete salvation, and this we find in Christ. It is surprising how many people do not care to know the source o

GIVING TO THE POOR AND NEEDY WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 8 TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 15:7-11 Key verse: “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will He pay him again” Proverbs 19:17. God is compassionate and caring. In His commandment to Israel, He made sufficient provision for the poor and needy among them. He Exhorted the Israelites to be compassionate to the poor and to open their hand wide to them. Under the ministry of Jesus the disciples witnessed compassionate care for the poor by the Lord Jesus Christ. The scriptures reveal this. Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, AND GIVE TO THE POOR, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow Me. Matthew 26:9, For this ointment might have been sold for much, AND GIVEN TO THE POOR. Helping the poor and needy was part of apostolic focus and exhortation to believers in the early church. Galatians 2:10.

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR MARRIAGE BECAUSE OF HEAVEN TUESDAY FEBRUARY 7 TEXT: EPHESIANS 5:21-27 Key Verse: “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Marriage is a relationship entered into here on earth between husband and wife, an institution ordained by God. The head of the house is the man. If the husband is given headship of the house, things will work well. If any woman takes over the headship, it is for her misery. If you are a child of God, woman, return the headship to your husband. God exalted Jesus so that if Jesus receives glory the Father will be glorified: if a man promotes his wife, he shall rejoice, make her happy and you will be happy too. Be patient with her, brother. Jesus said all of my Father’s are mine; I and my father are one. A

BE CAREFUL IN COMMITTING YOURSELF TO PLEDGING MONDAY FEBRUARY 6 TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 5:1-6 Key verse: “Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about Him bring presents unto Him that ought to be feared” Psalms 76:11. Do not make vow or pledge in a rush; ponder well before doing so. Do not commit yourself to pledging an amount which you have no ability or opportunity to redeem. Do not specify a time limit which you are uncertain of. Do not submit to force or pressure to make a vow or pledge. Firmly resist vowing if you are not willing or convinced to do so. When you make a vow or pledge ensure that you redeem it, because it is a sin to vow and not redeem it. If it is applicable, let an “If” be in your promise, as, “I will give this or do this if…” 2 Corinthians 8:12-13, For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. For I mean not that other men be eased

SCRIPTURAL ADVICE ON CRITICS AND CRITICISM SATURDAY FEBRUARY 4 TEXT: ACTS 23:1-5 Key Verse: “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” James 1:19 The society criticizes everybody, in fact men also criticize God but I encourage that you don’t allow criticism turn you down. May God grant you the grace to handle and manage criticism in a righteous manner in Jesus name. The right attitude towards critics and criticism is: (1) Purify your heart from loving criticism - James 4:8; (2) Keep your heart from partaking in another man’s sin. He loves backbiting and he is looking for you to drag into sin, please keep yourself - 1 Timothy 5:22; (3) Be slow to speak. Control your tongue - James 1: 19, 26. The Christianity of a talkative is in vain; (4) Be warned of the danger of idle words - Matthew 12:36-37; (5) Turn away from backbiters and unkin

Key Verse: "And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of His Glory" Isaiah 6: 3. Christianity is all about a holy God, who lives in a holy Heaven, and sent His holy son to the unholy earth to redeem sinful man from sin and make them holy in life that they may serve the holy God perpetually, and live with Him eternally. Holiness is the life style of God. God demands holiness from all those who serve him and profess that they know Him. God is holy and therefore demands holy service from all who are called by His name. To receive this experience of holiness, one must be saved from sin, converted, and genuinely born of the spirit. We cannot make it to heaven, without this spiritual experience of holiness. Holiness cannot be copied, or imitated, but can be lived, seen in our conduct and practicall

PRACTICE SEED SOWING SCRIPTURALLY THURSDAY FEBRUARY 2 TEXT: 2CORINTHIANS 8:1-15 Key verse: “For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not” 2 Corinthians 8:12. Many preachers induce their audience to “sow seed,” so God may answer or bless them speedily. This strange doctrine suggests that whatever you want from God, just give Him something and he will answer you and you will have what you are looking for. Some go to the point of saying the more your offering, the faster or more surely the answer to your prayer. Preachers of seed sowing do not bother about the sins of the people. To them what is more important is their gift of money and material resources to God. Some of these preachers demand money and material gifts from those that come to them for prayer. Some others go into negotiation of how much money to give for deliverance to be carried out. Commit yourself t
