Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.  The counsel is, “Buy of me white raiment that thou mayest be clothed, that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear.” The people see you in sin, are you not shaming this gospel? Are you not shaming your life? When you look at the life of your pastor, does he pass for a true Christian? Is he practicing righteousness? Does he know Jesus? Is it not business that goes on between the two of you there? That is why the Lord is saying that you too are naked because you are not hearing the word that will change you. Jesus is saying, get from Me righteousness, ask Me for real salvation and I will get you born again.  Then ask Me to sanctify your heart and make you thoroughly clean, and I will do it. The Lord

She came to live with me because while standing for holiness and righteousness, she also lost her home and was forced to stay on the streets for about one month. I also lost my job because of the sin involved and certain things I was told to do, which were a direct insult to Christ. We lost our homes, so Mummy Pamela and I started to pack our things to seek shelter elsewhere. There was one Swedish man that we had evangelized. As we were doing our packing, we remembered him. So we called and explained our situation to him. He was very glad to take us in. He became our father and was very caring. Up till today we still live with Sven, for that is his name.   After som

Miriam based in Sweden, Scandinavia. My coming to Sweden was by fraudulent act. I did fake marriage with my elder brother and somebody leaked the secret to the immigration office in Sweden, so I was charged to court. During that time, I received threats from people, including my elder brother who threatened to make me run mad if I mentioned his name.  I sought the counsel of Pastor Bright (HOREMOW Europe Coordinator), Mummy Linda and Mummy Heather who all interceded for me. But we have the mind of Christ.  My prayer for you is that you will be able to judge what is right and easily perceive the glory of God around and you. That you will have spiritual understanding and that you will understand things in the way of God. You will see things as God sees them, whether good or evil things. Job told his wife, “Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all these, Job did not sin because he had spiritual understanding. He understood in the evil things happening to him that, “He knoweth the way that I take, after he has tried me he shall bring me forth as gold.”  This is great spiritual understanding. In fact, you still know how to go and cast out devils.  You know the language to speak. You know how to become serious when the matter involves devils. You also know how to counsel others. In Christ we enjoy love. We are comforted by the love of brethren. It heals our fears and discouragement. We enjoy fellowship together. To keep this love going, practice Christian unity. Don't be an unnecessary critic but be in one mind with the brethren. A man came to a brother after service and gave him N500 for his transport and the brother was jubilating. But your response was, “Why are you jubilating when he should have done more than that.” A message was preached and everybody was rejoicing except you. When King Josiah heard the truth of scripture, he gathered his people together and said, “We are going to do this righteousness. We are going to preach this and stand on it. I had used those fake names to apply for benefits and was receiving money from the UK government that I was a single mother. Today’s key verse says, “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines:  for our vines have tender grapes.” Foxes have taken over your vineyard. Nobody is there to care for your vineyard. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  In today’s devotional text, does the Bible say to the sick person, “Let him go and meet the elders?” No! The Bible says, “Let him call for the elders.” This means his case is a critical one such that he is so indisposed and bedridden that the elders have to be called to visit him at home. Otherwise, he should have gone out to look for the elders and not sent for them to come to his house. Even in Jesus’ time, there were critical issues that warranted him being invited to people’s home to heal the sick. In less serious cases, the sick were often brought to him to receive their healing.  For taking your time to study remain blessed.  TOPIC: GOD HAS A PROGRAMME FOR EVERYBODY           August Saturday 15th TEXT: Job 23:10-14 KEY VERSE: Job 23:14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.  How would a child react when he sees his pregnant mother crying because she is about to give birth? Naturally, he would want to go and stop his mother from crying. He would say, “Mummy, do not cry.” But child, that cry is part of giving life to a human being. That pain is built into her, and it comes naturally with child birth. Where do you give birth without pain? It is a pronouncement of God on women. So allow her. It is her time to cry. That crying and groaning is giving her the energy to push out the child. Stopping her groaning and labour may frustrate natural delivery until she has to be taken for caesarian operation. Let her cry, for that is the normal thing to do. Learn it as you deal with your brethren, friends and family members.

 For taking your time to study remain blessed.  TOPIC: GOD’S COUNSEL TO THE CHURCH IN OUR GENERATION           August Friday 14th TEXT: Proverbs 2:1-9 KEY VERSE: Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.  Jesus is not present in most churches today even though they boast of large membership and mega cathedrals. Jesus is outside most of them. God’s counsel to them is, “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see” (Revelation 3:18). Get spiritual riches and glory. Value this above material wealth. He is counseling you to turn to God: “I counsel thee buy of me gold.” This is the pure word of God. Teach sound doctrine. Before the conference, I was having a severe waist pain. It became so severe that I found it difficult to stand or sit for long. I couldn’t bend to sweep. I had been experiencing this pain for over three months. I took medication but it did not bring any relief. Meanwhile, ahead of the conference, announcement was made that all workers in the chapters and units will be used as volunteer workers for the conference. My mind just went to the kitchen, but I felt that I could not work in the kitchen with this pain. These are words of wisdom to conquer anti-love forces. When you heard something about your wife or your husband, did you investigate before you believed and acted on it? Take your suspicion to God before you scatter Christianity in your family or church. Because you see a brother and sister standing together, you are already concluding that there is something between them. Have you verified? Listen to God for He will speak to you right things. You now suspect everybody to be a witch or wizard. Who told you? Be slow in judgment and slow to conclude. Wait on facts. If you judge wrongly it will pollute you. Why run speedily into danger?  For taking your time to study remain blessed.  TOPIC: ABUSE OF ANOINTING OIL FOR MIRACLE IS UNSCRIPTURAL       August Sunday 9th TEXT: Luke 10:30-34 KEY VERSE: Luke 10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.  In the Old Testament time, anointing oil was commonly used as a healing balm. They had it in their houses as we have Robb or Mentholatum or Aboniki in our houses today for first aid treatment of cold, catarrh, wounds, inflammation, dislocation etc. So they too had it as a healing balm or first aid treatment in the family. That is why in the story of the Good Samaritan that Jesus narrated in today’s reading text we see the common use of anointing oil coming out clearly.  He said a man fell among thieves on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho and there came a good Samaritan by that way who went to his rescue and poured upon his wound oil and wine. A man was watching a cocoon (shell). The cocoon was shaking and turning this way and that way. He was wondering what was happening. Suddenly, the shell had a crack and the head of a butterfly came out of the cocoon. The man exclaimed, “Ah, so butterfly is inside here? This is mystery.” The cocoon continued shaking and shaking; turning here and there, then the head came out fully, but the body was still in the cocoon. The cocoon started turning again and the man in sympathy thought in his mind, Oh, you want to come out of this cocoon? Is the cocoon too strong to allow you come out? The Holy Spirit will depart because Jesus cannot share meal with Satan. “They knoweth not that they are wretched and miserable and naked and blind and poor.” This is the state of many churches and of course, those who worship in them. The Lord says they are wretched because they are suffering terribly in the hands of Satan.  They are in satanic bondage. Satan is dealing with them very mercilessly. Satan dwells in their midst. Satan sends his angels among them; he sends his workers among them and he is dealing with them badly, pulling them, tearing them, pushing them and removing anything good that is still remaining in

We have been believing God for an open door to open a chapter of Holiness Revival Movement (HOREMOW) in Ogbomoso Town of Oyo State, Nigeria.  Ogbomoso Christians are known to have very strong denominational spirit. God eventually answered our prayer when I received a call from a brother in America who told me of his wish to organize a crusade in Ogbomoso and possibly open a chapter there. They package themselves in such a way that you may never discover their faults or sins. They are pretenders, they are hypocrites. They are masters of deception. What you will easily see in them is innocence, righteousness and truth, and that is what they claim for themselves. They claim to be what they are not and use all means to cover their sin. You have been sorrowful probably because you lost somebody or something valuable, or your husband, friend or boss is maltreating you. Invite Jesus to comfort you. Jesus is a FRIEND. Are you lonely? In the beginning was the Word. By His Word the world was created. Invite Him so that He can give you the right words to use on every occasion. Zechariah and Elizabeth were childless but they lived together happily and the Bible says they were perfect.
