Restitution involves righting the wrongs done in times of ignorance and disobedience. This may be in marriage, in documents, in relationships with others and so on. Although the Bible says “If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, all things have become new,” the truth is that your neighbours don’t pass away neither does the place you were working pass away. Suppose you did something evil to your neighbour and as a result, you have not been on talking terms with him, now that you are born again and you are not in that lifestyle anymore, you need to go to your neighbour to seek reconciliation. You need to apologize for your wrongdoing and ask for forgiveness. You need to pay back debts
