Greatness is not a matter of out ward position or human recognition. Let us come to money, who has the most money here in his possession, you may not tell, the person you think is not the one, may be you will be judging on the clothes or shoes the person is putting on. God has measured the type of comfort you will need forever and ever, such that you will lack nothing. You have all things you will ever desire. This is because some wives are married to difficult unbelieving husbands and unbroken believers, who are like dogs and pigs. While wives are commanded to submit to their husbands, wives of such husbands must be cautious in such obedience, otherwise the holiness they are trying to earn or possess by submitting their resources may become polluted or tarnished in the sight of God. TOPIC: LESSONS FROM VIRTUOUS WOMEN December Friday 27th TEXT: 1 Samuel 25: 14-38 Key verse: 2 Samuel 20: 22 “Then the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem unto the king.” These women manifested wisdom, resourcefulness, diligence, prudence and selflessness to achieve their seemingly impossible tasks. Emulate such virtues in your difficult situations.  Abigail was the wife of a churlish, foolish man, Nabal who refused David’s request for hospitality in the wilderness of Paran. Then David vowed to go and wipe away his whole household. But Abigail’s prompt response prevailed on David’s anger and her family was saved. Not only that she saved her family, but afterward became the wife of king David after her husband died. What a great privilege !

TOPIC: PURE DANCE OF THE RIGHTEOUS       December Thursday 26th TEXT: Psalm 30: 11-12 KEY VERSE: Jeremiah. 31:13 “Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow” This is a natural and spontaneous reaction of a heart that is thrilled with God's goodness. Pure dance obtains in the life of an individual believer as well as a congregation of worshipers. As good as this is, it is not carried beyond proportion by the individual believer or the congregation. Some people love dancing in their private praise and worship to God where nobody watches them. This may not be condemned if they do it in pure conscience before God. What one may do in privacy and be blameless may not be done in public without blame. TOPIC: THE SUBMISSION OF WIFE’S RESOURCES TO HER HUSBAND.       December Monday 23rd TEXT: Ephesians 5: 22-24 KEY VERSE: Genesis 2: 24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Submission means the act of submitting or yielding to the power or authority of another; obedience, or the spirit of subjection. A lot has been said in the previous section about the wife’s obedience to the husband. Here we are going to talk about the wife submitting her resources to her husband. In many marriages the husband and the wife own their property differently even among Christian couples. And in some cases the wives even struggle to control the family property. This is not biblical and as in every case, anything not done in the will of God results in afflictions and conflicts. TOPIC: OBEDIENCE OF WIFE TO HUSBAND AS UNTO THE LORD.        December Monday 9th TEXT: Ephesians 5:22- 23 Key verse: 1 Peter 3:1 “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;” In every area in marriage, the scripture commands that the wife be subject unto her husband. “Subject” here, is defined by the dictionary as “being under the power of another, owing or yielding obedience to sovereign authority. What this means therefore, is that wives should be under the husband in every manner of life in her marriage. In every aspect the wife should be in obedience to her husband. The total obedience is not slavery. It is just the divine order in which the home of the couple should be governed for peace and harmony. She pointed to a mountain in her place and said their fathers worshipped there, but that the Jews were saying worship could only take place in Jerusalem. The word worship in the sense she used it, refers to the sum total of all the activities that go on in a place of religious meeting. The Jews contended with the Samaritans on the right place of worship. Jesus showed that the Samaritans did not know what they were worshipping. Only those who were saved could understand the Person of worship. The Jews were taught the way of salvation by which they could worship God with understanding. Why? Their eyes are closed. They are in darkness that they cannot see with their eyes. They don't see and they don't know. This is spiritual darkness. God says they need the opening of their eyes. It means understanding has to come in. You do the things you do because of your lack of understanding. The word of God says "My people perish for lack of knowledge". Open their eyes. That is spiritual awakening and consciousness of God: Awakening unto the Lordship of Jesus; Awakening unto the presence of the Holy Spirit in the world among men; They should awaken unto the authority and authenticity of the Holy Scriptu

There are those who were delivered from the power of darkness. They were once witches, wizards, occultists, spiritualists, etc, and served Satan effectively in his evil kingdom. God showed them mercy and through faith in Christ they were delivered. Many of these would desire to give the testimony of their salvation. Their testimonies must promote biblical truths for the salvation of sinners, edification of believers and the glory of the Lord. However they must avoid going into the depth of Satan. This is not encouraged by the scripture. But they must not seek to go into details in their testimony and revelations.
