UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10
TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2
Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16
People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept.
God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then there will be no eternity. The trade mark of God’s kingdom is RIGHTEOUSNESS. Activities of Satan and his cohorts have affected the relationship of man with God. Where will you spend your eternity? This question comes to you and I. Will you spend eternity in hell fire or in heaven?
The greatest privilege that you have is that you are still alive on earth, where mercy is obtainable. Hell fire is the fear of every man. Mark 8:36-37 “for what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul. Mark 9:44 “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Do all you can to make heaven in order to escape from God’s wrath. Luke 13:23-14 “Then said one unto Him, Lord are there few that be saved? And He said unto them, strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Thought for the day: The Lord sitteth upon the flood, yea the Lord sitteth king forever.
Song for the day: Eternal, eternal life (2x), I want to live eternal life, God save my soul (2x)
Bible reading for the day: 1 Kings 21-22; John 3:1-21

August Tuesday 27th TOPIC: CORRECT WATER BAPTISM TEXT: Mark 16:15-16 KEY VERSE: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The believer requires water baptism. The baptism that Jesus commanded is in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is done by immersion in water because the three Persons are One. In Acts of the Apostles, the people were baptizing in the name of Jesus. They used the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to indicate that the baptism was carried out as authorized by Jesus, and the baptism authorized by Jesus is that which is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is not to say that they dip people in water and say, “I baptize you in the name of Jesus.” The name of Jesus cannot represent the Godhead. The Father is not Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, Jesus is God who be
