Thursday 29th January

Text: Psalms 1:1-6
Key Verse: Philippians 4:8 “Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”.
The major beneficial uses of the internet include: Evangelism and propagation of the gospel; promoting holiness, righteousness and truth worldwide; penetrating closed places such as Islamic nations and Communist enclaves; and providing a platform to denounce ungodly practices and preachers. HOREMOW messages and materials are available on the Internet; YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, Telegram, etc. Christian literature and holiness materials are also readily available. It can also be used for academic and intellectual purposes. Here are some common uses of the internet:
Email: By using the internet, we can communicate in seconds with someone who is far away in the other part of the world. Information: The biggest advantage that the internet offers is information: it is easy for anyone to access information, and it can be of any type, as the internet is flooded with information. As believers, we must shun unprofitable information. Business: World trade has seen a boom with the use of the internet, as it has become easier for sellers and buyers to communicate and advertise their products. Social networking: Social networking sites have become an important part of the online community. Real Time Updates: There are various websites on the internet which provide you with real-time updates on every field. Shopping: In today’s busy life, most people are interested in shopping online. E-commerce: This concept is used for business deals that involve the transfer of information across the globe via the internet. Social services: Many services are now provided on the internet, such as online banking, job seeking, purchasing tickets for events, and guidance services on a range of topics in the aspects of life, hotel reservations and bill paying. Job search: Makes life easy for seekers and employers

Thought For The Day: Use the internet well as God’s blessing to the world.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
