The Just Shall Live By Faith

Friday 16th January

Text: Hebrews 11: 1-6
Key Verse: Hebrews 10:38 “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him”
‘The just shall live by faith’ is both an exhortation and an instruction to every believer to relate with GOD personally. God expects you to exercise personal faith in Him so that you may live. Whatever situation that arises against a just man, he is exhorted to have personal faith in God. Are you experiencing attacks of the enemy? Whatever opposition that comes against a just man to instil fear into him, the Bible advises the just man to have faith in God in the presence of that great contrary situation, in order to live and overcome. Have faith in God in spite of that great opposition, and you shall conquer it and make progress. All that is required of you is to trust in your God.
A man came to Jesus asking Him to come to his house to help him because of his daughter’s ill-health. Jesus delayed in coming and a message was sent to this man not to trouble Jesus anymore, for his daughter had died. Jesus heard the bad news that was brought to this man and encouraged him: “Be not afraid, only believe!” That is what Jesus is saying to you. Whatever is confronting you, be not afraid, only believe. If you sincerely believe, you will see the glory of God. Is that terrible sickness threatening your life? Be not afraid, for you shall live to give testimony, if only you can believe God, you will overcome that problem and laugh at the devil. If a just man falls inside water and appears to be drowning, if only he can believe, he will float on the surface of water and be rescued. This is the exhortation to the just man and woman.
Mary was a woman of faith. She trusted in the Lord and never yielded her heart to doubt the word of God. When she was visited by an angel of God and promised a child. She had no husband and was not sleeping with any man. The moment the angel told her that it was going to be an act of God, she yielded and believed.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Source Of Faith

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. The Source Of Faith  Tuesday 18th March Text: Romans 1:16-17 Key Verse: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 What is the foundation for our faith? The faith of the just man has the following sources, from where it gets its inspiration. The Word Of God: The foundation of the faith of the just, is the word of God.  The word of God is the production room of the faith which the just exercises. The faith of the just has its foundation in what God has said in His word.  Faith seeks for what God has said to stand upon.  Have you seen the promises of God for you, from the word? Have you seen God's message for you, in the scriptures?  Believe it absolutely, and it shall surely come to pass. This will enhance your faith for subsequent needs of your life. “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, ...
