God Desires A Second Touch Of The Believer’s Heart

Saturday 17th January

Text: Romans 7: 22-23
Key Verse: Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. John 17:17.
God comes again to the believer and says, "Give Me your heart." You are following God already but have noticed that there are some inner tensions in you? Have you noticed that although, the work of salvation has been done in you, you have not seen the perfection as it should be? There are still some struggles within. You struggle, you pray, yet you experience some forces within you and once in a while they overcome you. You see in some degree, not in the sense it works in sinners. The adamic nature, inbred sin or inner depravity pulls on your heart, but it is cleansed at Sanctification. God does things line upon line, precept upon precept. He did the first one, you do not commit adultery or steal anymore. There is something that needs to be done in that heart again, and that is called sanctification.
Jesus called the twelve disciples, and they walked with Him for three and half years on earth. There were many other disciples of Jesus: men and women that heard and obeyed His words. Jesus prayed to the Father concerning the disciples thus: “Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also send them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word.”
These people were already born again, followed Jesus for some years but needed an experience of grace to make them better and holy Christians, fully victorious over sin. What was needed is Sanctification. Jesus prayed this prayer for all believers in Christ. "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word." That means, to believe in Christ and be born again is different from to be sanctified. This is very clear. Everybody who believes in Christ needs Sanctification, which is a second package that goes along with salvation.

Thought For The Day: Sanctification improves your holiness.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Source Of Faith

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. The Source Of Faith  Tuesday 18th March Text: Romans 1:16-17 Key Verse: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 What is the foundation for our faith? The faith of the just man has the following sources, from where it gets its inspiration. The Word Of God: The foundation of the faith of the just, is the word of God.  The word of God is the production room of the faith which the just exercises. The faith of the just has its foundation in what God has said in His word.  Faith seeks for what God has said to stand upon.  Have you seen the promises of God for you, from the word? Have you seen God's message for you, in the scriptures?  Believe it absolutely, and it shall surely come to pass. This will enhance your faith for subsequent needs of your life. “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, ...
