TOPIC: MY EXPERIENCES WITH MONEY MINDED MINISTERS OF OUR TIME (2)

TEXT:  2 TIMOTHY 3:13-17
13. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 
14. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 
15. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 
16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

It is something that I Senator Emmanuel Bwacha am very familiar with as a public servant that has served in public office for long. I knew I had love for God but I was not able to keep the faith. Be aware that whatever you are doing, the person you are dealing with is taking very special note of you because if you are talking to somebody who is listening to you, if you are a self-advertising person, the person is taking very special note of you. 

One of the things that actually encouraged me and brought me to this Movement through the mercy of God is the personal lifestyle of the international director, Pastor Paul Rika.

Many who come to you when you are in public office have their eye is on that which you have. The servant of the Lord, Pastor Paul Rika came to see me when I was made a commissioner in 1999. The spirit I saw in him was that of somebody that pitied my state. I had expected him, “Ah! This is my classmate. One of us is now a commissioner and all that” but the love of money was not there. 

His concern was not how to get my money but how to save my soul. When he left, because I had known him before, I was telling one of my friends, “This man is still the born again Christian that I used to know” because by their fruit, you shall know them. For a minister of the gospel, to tell you I am not interested in your money, is unheard of. 

The deceitful minister come through subtle means they use the name of Jesus to defraud people.  They come to you as ministers and the way they speak, they have a sugar-coated tongue. They speak, they are motivational speakers. He will speak and quote the Bible and tell you that he has solution to your problem. He will beguile you.  As the serpent beguiled Eve, these members, pastors, are subtle like the serpent. They move with cunningness, before you know it, they strike. They are very subtle. 

Thought for the day: The personal life of a pastor, can draw people to him.
