Signs And Wonders Should Be According To Biblical Pattern

Text: Mark 16: 17 – 20

Wednesday May 8th

Key verse: Obadiah 17 “Upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
God has prepared to direct us on holy service unto Himself. He tells us when the lives and services of people are corrupt because from the heart of men proceed the works they do. When people are righteous and holy, their service is also righteous and holy. Hence, the word says, make the people holy then their service will be holy, so if you accept to live a life of holiness, then the fruit of your service will be holy. So, it is very important to accept the life of holiness because the God that made you is holy; He will give you grace to be holy. You just make up your mind to be holy. Do not accept that no man can be holy; then Jesus came for nothing, Jesus achieved nothing. Then the gospel of Christ is a delusion; a deceit.
One of the ways that these polluted ministers prosper in their ways, multiply followers and enlarge their congregation is the way of signs and wonders. They present signs, wonders and miracles as the main attraction to the people instead of the word of God. Their emphasis is miracles. In a revelation about a popular church, several ministers assembled in a secret meeting room underground to do their evil. The bishop of that church addressed the ministers; both ministers from his denomination and other mighty ministers from renown churches in the nation. He said, “It is very difficult to receive ministerial power for exploits from the living God; you will pray, fast, toil and labor long before you can get a little power but if you go to Satan today and meet his terms, by tomorrow or the next day power is already following you. So, it is power they are looking for to demonstrate and get followers. Their mentees and children are also looking for instant display of power so they take them to secret shrines and say, “Enter the river, climb the mountain, descend the valley, come for midnight meetings, bring a soul, shed blood…” In this way, many ministers have been defiled and have nothing to offer God.

Thought for the day: Understand miracles as they were performed in scripture.

Song for the day: The most excellency is Jesus, shout Alleluia, Amen …

Bible reading for the day: 2 Chronicles 1-4

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
