False Prophets Far Outnumber True Ministers

Thursday May 30th

Text:  1 Kings 22: 5 - 8
Key verse: 1 Kings 22:14 “And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.”
What is the ratio of the false to the original? Ahab had 400 prophets of Baal in comparison to only one prophet of God, Micaiah. It is even worse in our time because majority of ministers operating ministries of all categories are false. Many have turned aside after Satan, even denying the Lord that bought them. A false prophet in Kenya that pretends to be a holiness preacher has made himself so great that they sweep the road for him. Among many other fallacies, he claims that he and God the Father both know the time of the rapture but that Jesus does not know. He claims to be the two witnesses mentioned in the book of Revelation. The Bible says that through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. Sadly, many have followed their pernicious ways.
False prophets have many things to say against the righteous ministers. They sponsor people to join the assembly of the righteous and later bolt out with negative testimonies. When they say, “I was there,” you will think they are telling the truth not knowing that it is a plan to show people that no truth exists anywhere. They struggle to be leaders of Christian associations in various nations. They operate as political leaders; no righteousness but only money business. God is not with them because they are not doing it for Jesus. They are church founders and General overseers. Since it is their church, they teach what they want and members have learnt to honor them so whatever they say must be correct. A pastor said that when his wife committed adultery, he covered her but she refused to bear with his own so he divorced her and remarried. The members remained there, arrested by witchcraft otherwise can an adulterer take you to heaven? False ministers have corrupted the world. Christianity has died in many quarters; only a remnant exists.

Thought for the day: The remnant exists because there must be a remnant.

Song for the day: You cannot hide it from God

Bible reading for the day: Job 13-16

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
