TOPIC: SAVE A PERISHING SOUL TODAY AND DELIGHT JESUS  

TEXT:  ISAIAH 5:13-16
13. Therefore My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. 
14. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. 
15. And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
16. But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. 

KEY VERSE:MATTHEW  7:13 “Enter ye in at the straight gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat”

Also at the gate, Jesus stretched out His left hand and I saw the broad way. I saw multitudes of people: little children, youths, men and women of all races, black and white. I saw the rich and the poor, the nobles and kings of the earth. 

I had perfect understanding there. The density of people walking that way, I can best compare to the multitudes of people I saw in Oshodi market, in Lagos, Nigeria. They were pressing on one another, over-taking each other. I saw that their movement was not done freely. There was a strong force pulling them towards the direction they were going.

Then I asked the Lord Jesus, “Where are these people going to?” He answered. “They are on their way to hell. These are people I created for My own glory, but now they are on their way to eternal destruction.” (Psalms 9:17).

When I heard this, I fell down and was crying. I pleaded, “Don't destroy them, Lord! Don't destroy them Lord” He responded in tears, “But they hated Me. How can I allow someone who does not love Me to come into my Kingdom? These people have I formed to show forth My praise, but they are now going into eternal damnation.” (2 Peter 3:9). Jesus was crying like a baby.

What a pity! This is the way many souls perish daily, yet it is not the will of God that any soul perishes. The Lord is calling on all true believers to rescue the perishing souls. Evangelism is the heart-beat of Christ. Every sinner is a potential saint, if you can do something as an evangelist. 

Thought for the day: Win a soul for Christ today and make Jesus happy.
