TOPIC: DESIRED QUALITIES OF WORKERS IN HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT WORLDWIDE (2)

TEXT: ACTS 2:1-4
1. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3.  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

KEY VERSE: ACTS 1:8 But ye shall receive power; after that, the Holy Ghost will come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

In every organization, workers are trained and equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate maximally for optimum profit. God employs laborers in His vineyard to bear abiding fruit. The disciples had worked with the Master for three and a half years, and now they were to face the world themselves after his ascension.

But He commanded them not to go into the field of service but to wait for the promise of the Father. The divine counsel came from Jesus Himself to the disciples. He did not want them to think they could carry out the service simply because He had sent them out before to preach, teach, and do signs and wonders to various degrees but He commanded them to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit.

Christian workers who desire to offer fruitful, lasting, and abiding exploits in the kingdom must first be baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit power gives you divine enablement to serve productively in the vineyard.

He gives grace to believers to do the perfect will of God. He gives wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in your area of service. He gives you spiritual gifts for ease of operation. You are able to carry out the service of God effortlessly. When you are empowered by the Holy Spirit, it will no longer be you again, but God takes over to do the work Himself. That is when the service becomes a perfect and reasonable service acceptable to God.

Again, the Holy Spirit baptism makes you fervent in spirit and makes the zeal of the Lord consume you. You are not easily dissuaded, confused, or distracted. It makes you bold in service and ready to pass through any form of persecution. He makes you ready to endure and suffer long until you accomplish your mission. Dearly beloved brethren, if you have not been baptized, be hungry and thirst for it in prayer unto God, and you will receive it.

Thought for the day: the Holy Spirit baptism ensures more fruitful abiding exploits.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
