BE SLOW TO JUDGE AND CONCLUDE ON A MATTER

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: BE SLOW TO JUDGE AND CONCLUDE ON A MATTER       August Monday 10th

TEXT: Isaiah 11:3-4

KEY VERSE: John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Take information that comes into your hands to God in prayer to maintain love and keep God’s commandment. These are words of wisdom to conquer anti-love forces. When you heard something about your wife or your husband, did you investigate before you believed and acted on it? Take your suspicion to God before you scatter Christianity in your family or church. Because you see a brother and sister standing together, you are already concluding that there is something between them. Have you verified? Listen to God for He will speak to you right things. You now suspect everybody to be a witch or wizard. Who told you? Be slow in judgment and slow to conclude. Wait on facts. If you judge wrongly it will pollute you. Why run speedily into danger? Pray for more knowledge in all judgment.

Philippians 1:9-11

9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

If king Solomon had been hasty in judgment, he could have given the disputed child to a wrong mother and that would have been a miscarriage of justice. There is great wisdom in a careful examination of matters before reaching judgment. After proper investigation and you are sure of the facts, the matter must be taken up appropriately to be at peace with all men. But suppose you act on wrong information, you may make a fool of yourself. Keep your heart with all diligence because out of it are the issues of life. When you suck an orange and the fibre hooks between your teeth, your tongue will not rest until it is removed. So it is with information in your heart. If you have not verified, don't act on it. Continue to process the information and take time to look at all sides of the story. What appears right initially may turn out to be outright falsehood after your diligent investigation.

Thought for the day: Verify information received before reaching conclusion.

Song for the day: Lord make us instrument of Your peace……

Bible reading for the day: Psalm 88-89; Romans 10

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
