TOPIC: LET JESUS RULE OVER YOUR MARRIAGE – Part 1 August Sunday 2nd
TEXT: John 1:1-5
KEY VERSE: Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 

Jesus is the Word. In the beginning was the Word. By His Word the world was created. Invite Him so that He can give you the right words to use on every occasion. Zechariah and Elizabeth were childless but they lived together happily and the Bible says they were perfect. How did they achieve this if not that they invited Jesus, the God of perfection into their home? He is the MIGHTY God. When your power fails, go for the Mighty Power. When you don't know what to do, approach Jesus and the Mighty Power will work for you. He is the EVERLASTING FATHER. The Father of creation who gave being to every living soul. He has made you and He will bear you until your old age. Call upon Him, Abba Father, for whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. He is Father over the devil because he created him, so he has the power to restrain the devil in times of tribulation if you call upon Him. He says, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble.”

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  He is the PRINCE OF PEACE. His peace is not as that of the world. His peace surpasses all understanding. He is the SAVIOUR. He shall save the people from their sins. What causes major problem in family, marriage or any other relationship is sin. Take away sin and peace will reign. Tell God about the anger that is in you, Jesus will take it out. It could also be lust or immorality. Jesus is the HEALER. Mary and Martha invited Jesus for healing. You too can invite Jesus to heal your sick marriage, your family, your business, or your child. Let Him solve the problem of barrenness and sickness in your home. Jesus is a DELIVERER. Invite Jesus to solve the problem of spirit husband or spirit wife. Jesus joined only two in marriage, not three; so why is the spirit wife/husband intruding? Invite Jesus to come and defend the marriage against every corruption.
