SEEK GOD’S COUNSEL TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT PEOPLE’S MATTERS

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC: SEEK GOD’S COUNSEL TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT PEOPLE’S MATTERS August Tuesday 4th
TEXT: Hebrews 4:12-13
KEY VERSE: Daniel 2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

Some men’s sins are not easily discovered. They package themselves in such a way that you may never discover their faults or sins. They are pretenders, they are hypocrites. They are masters of deception. What you will easily see in them is innocence, righteousness and truth, and that is what they claim for themselves. They claim to be what they are not and use all means to cover their sin. The Bible says in Titus 1:16 “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

It will take extra vigilance to discover such people. You must not be too hasty to justify them and condemn those accusing them. Don’t easily take sides with them. God knows them and will surely judge them. Pray very hard. The church often takes decisions to judge sin. One of the decisions the church takes is to remove unrepentant members proven to be in witchcraft. As the church is doing this, they go about crying and pleading their innocence, claiming that they are innocent of the accusations against them. Would you want to stand by them without having the facts? You will be judged! Go and ask God yourself because you are ignorant of the matter. Pray to God and ask, “Is what this person saying true? God, it is you that knows the heart of all men. Nothing is hidden from your sight. Is it true that this person is innocent as she claims?”

Let God speak to you because some sins are committed inside water and you don’t live inside water, so how can you begin to defend a sin that is committed inside water? Some climb the mountain or go to the sky to commit sin. Have you climbed up a mountain in the night before? Why are you defending sins committed on top of mountain in the dead of the night? Go to God and say, “God I don’t know the truth about this matter, but thou knowest. Is it true? Are you behind this judgment?” Learn to diligently seek the counsel of God on hidden matters so that the Lord might not smite you along with the wicked. Learn to keep yourself pure from other men’s sins or other men’s matters.

Thought for the day: Learn to seek the face of God on all matters.
Song for the day: Shepherd of my soul, I give you full control…..
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 73-74; Romans 5

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
