TOPIC: WITHOUT GOD, YOU CAN ACHIEVE NOTHING
Text: Psalm 127:1, 2
Key verse: Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Don’t just think you have strength, knowledge and ability to handle issues of life independent of God. Our self-confidence and self-doubt are deceitful. You may be thinking your strength will make a way for you. Your mentality may deceive you that your knowledge and wisdom will chart the way forward for you. Your wisdom cannot handle that matter. The race is not for the swift. As smart and fast as you are, with your ability and resources, you may have life accident. If you remove God from the equation of life, those qualities on their own are not enough to guarantee your speedy advancement in life. Always remember that the race is not for the swift. Making it in life is not tied to how fast you are capable of running or your intellectual capacity.

Yes, everyone around you knows that you have a very good certificate and you too are proudly making a show of it. You have full confidence in yourself that you will surely make a headway in life. In fact, the course you read in school is widely acknowledged to be one of the most marketable and sought-after. But I want you to realize that the horse may be prepared for the battle, safety is of the Lord. Be informed that there are many that read more marketable courses and have better results than yours, yet they are stranded in life. Remove that confidence in your certificate and turn to your God. Trust in Him, not your certificate.
Smartness and strength are deceptive. Believe in God. Only God knows how to make a way out. Are you strong? Surrender that strength to God. Are you talented, full of resources and ability? Surrender all to God. Surrender that ministry to God. Only God can help you to be successful, not those things on their own. Except the progress you are witnessing now has a root in Christ, it will soon vanish. You will take one step forward and meet with a force that will drag you two steps backward. Except your ways are completely committed unto the Lord to take care of and sustain the success you are recording, your success story is temporal.

Thought for the day: Commit every area of your life into the safe hands of God and it shall be well.
Song for the day: Unto Thee O Lord, do I lift up my soul
Bible reading for the day: Genesis 20-22; Matthew 7

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
