TOPIC: DO NOT FALL FOR THE LYING WONDERS OF MEN
TEXT: Acts 8:9-13
KEY VERSE: Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

In our conferences, God has always promised that He was going to do great things. You might be sitting in a corner and be wondering, “Where is the promise? I have not seen it.” That is because you don’t understand how God moves in the assembly of the righteous. It is you that have not seen, but to God, great things are already happening. To you, things can only be said to be happening when people start falling over themselves and they have to be carried out. To you, the number of those that are “slain in the Spirit” is what determines the power of God in the assembly. But for God and those who understand how He does His things, they bear witness that great change of life has taken place; great purification of hearts has been done; great power and anointing have been poured down; and that physical healing, deliverance from satanic wiles, works and power have been manifested in a great way. Right in the meeting, the future of many have been changed and the testimonies that will be shared after the conference shall be varied and spectacular. Hallelujah!

If you had gone to where people were falling down, where people were shouting, raising up crouches, and performing all forms of drama for fake miracles, you would exclaim, “Yes, yes; something great is happening here!” While God is interested in the state of the heart, in the transformation of the heart, in that which is done in righteousness, in truth and in holiness, man is interested in carnality, fake testimonies, lying wonders and demonstrations of false people. If you are in a congregation like HOREMOW where lives are being transformed, where we are dealing with God in the purity of heart, where attention is paid to His word and genuine reconciliation is taking place between man and God with God bearing witness, then great things are happening. This is incomparable to polluted assemblies of millions of people where God is absent. These are prophets of Baal, congregations of Jezebel and colonies of witches and wizards. In today’s reading text, we could see how Simon the sorcerer mesmerized the people (both great and small) for a long time with his magic and they kept exalting him as a “great man of God.” There are many magicians on pulpit today and many synagogues of Satan operating as churches, so be careful and vigilant.

Thought for the day: Don’t be fooled by the lying wonders of fake pastors.
Song for the day: Satan you are a liar, a terrible liar, in the name of Jesus……
Bible reading for the day: Genesis 31-32; Matthew 10:24-42

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
