TOPIC: THE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE (NOT SERVICE), DETERMINES GOD’S RATING
TEXT: Matthew 7:21-23
KEY VERSE: Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?”
There are diverse ministers performing the same function, but they are graded differently. It is like those Indians who operate the caste system. They simply classify some people at lower socio-cultural level and some at higher level. Whoever you are, once you belong to a particular caste group, they grade you as such. It is in a similar way unholy ministers are graded. For their corrupt life, they are automatically graded by God as lower level ministers. Jesus does not smile at their service because their work is not done in righteousness or done to sweeten His heart. Job was a typical example of a man that lives to please God. Holy life is what brings joy to God, not service. If it is service, God would have been pleased with even Satan because he too is serving God in some ways. That is something you need to know to change your ways. What God wants from a man is to be a vessel unto honour in truth, righteousness and holiness. Whosoever desires to be a minister, must purge himself from sin and all spiritual and physical defilements. Several things are required for this, besides giving your life to Christ.

There are many people whose credential does not go beyond “I am born again.” They don’t know that this is just the beginning of the Christian life, not the end of it. In education, there is a graduation from the kindergarten level to the nursery level, primary level, secondary level and ultimately the tertiary level. As there are levels of learning, there are also levels of spirituality. When you get born again and stop there, it is like someone who finished from primary school and says, “I am done!” If you are done at Primary School level, what can you contribute to your nation in matters of knowledge and understanding? If the law says you must have secondary school certificate to become a governor, where do you stand with your primary school certificate? Certainly, your educational level will limit you. You became born again and you want to stop at salvation level? Very truly I tell you, you are far behind spiritually.

Thought for the day: Labour for gain, not in vain.
Song for the day: His word be the standard
Bible reading for the day: Genesis 15-17; Matthew 5:27-48

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
