TOPIC: PRAY IN FAITH FOR A MARRIAGE PARTNER
TEXT: Mark 11:22-24
KEY VERSE: James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

The only condition God gives is that you must be a child of God and He will give you your own marriage partner. He didn't say you must be rich or that you must be educated or that you must come from a particular tribe or family lineage. May be the problem you have been having is your taste. You have set a standard for yourself and you are not seeing anybody yet fitting into your mould. I can tell you categorically that there is no righteousness in some of your tastes. Even a deformed person is eligible for marriage. A lame man met me and asked me to pray for him for a wife. I noticed his condition and prayed for him. Recently, the man came to the conference with his wife and two children. All God says is ask, whether you are blind or lame or whole, just ask!
Matthew 7:7-11
[7] Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: [8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. [9] Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? [10] Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? [11] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?

Again, seek good counsel. Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. Without counsel marriage is disappointed. People suffer disappointment. Get advice from seasoned people. Avoid marriage matchmakers. Some will tell you they have special gift of dream and they will start telling you phantom dreams. Be very careful. Sometimes too, it may be sin in your life that is making your prayer for a marriage partner to be unanswered. God will not give holy things to dogs. Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. I am not talking about generational curse here. Jesus has taken away those curses if you are already in Christ. But the question is, are you living a holy life to deserve a good gift of righteous marriage partner from God?
Thought for the day: Ask in faith and believe it is received.
Song for the day: God can do it again and again and again, He’s the same……

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
