TOPIC: DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DESPERATION TO GET MARRIED HINDER THE GOSPEL WORK
TEXT: Ruth 3:11-12
KEY VERSE:1Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
Let not your desperate desire to get married be a hindrance to the gospel work. Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! Where would you have power to preach this gospel if you get yourself defiled before marriage. From today’s reading text we see that virtuous Ruth was not among those running after men, laughing, and tolerating their casual touching here and there. That is not Ruth! Don't parade yourself to impress men because you are looking for a husband. Don’t display yourself to men like products displayed on supermarket shelf. It diminishes your stature before God and man. Make yourself cheap and you will have a cheap husband. Make yourself precious and you will have a quality husband.
When you come across a determined and responsible person, he will behave like the psalmist who says in Psalm 119:33-40 “Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. [34] Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. [35] Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. [36] Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. [37] Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. [38] Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear. [39] Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good. [40] Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.”
That is the prayer of the committed. Teach me about marriage I will stick to it and follow the processes. I don't want to fail my God. I have gotten the vision of heaven and I want to be there. I have heard of hell and I don't want to go there. Even if there is delay in approval process by the marriage committee, learn righteousness by enduring it, for the delay may be for your good. He that hasteneth with his feet sinneth. Help me to follow your commandment. It gives me joy when my obedience is fulfilled. Let the church give good testimony about you. Love the testimony of the Lord in a man or woman, not wealth, position etc. Sometimes, the person you want to marry may not be handsome or beautiful as you desire but that is vanity. Do you know how beautiful mammy water girls look?

Thought for the day: Don’t allow your desperation for marriage partner to make you offend God.
Song for the day: I must work for the Lord while it is day, the night…….
Bible reading for the day: Exodus 25-26; Matthew 21:1-22.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
