TOPIC: GOD IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO REMOVE THE SIEGE OF SATAN AGAINST THE CHURCH
TEXT: 2 Kings 6:24-30
KEY VERSE: Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
In today’s bible reading, study the situation and understand the spiritual sense of it. Physically, Benhadad the king of Syria wanted to capture Samaria and destroy it. Because he was stronger and had bigger army, he brought his army and surrounded the wall of the city, waiting for anyone that would come out or just let the gate open so they could enter the city and capture it. When the children of Israel saw this, they shut the gate and no man went out or came in. This went on for a long time and they soon ran out of food since they could not go out to replenish their stock of food. Things got so bad that even the excreta of dove were being sold. Can you imagine that kind of situation? It got to a point that they even began to eat themselves. Two women came into agreement to eat their children one after the other to survive. They killed the child of the first woman and ate him. The following day, they wanted to kill the child of the second woman but the mother had hidden him. The woman that was cheated demanded justice in iniquity!
This scenario is similar to what is now playing out in the church of God. The devil has besieged the church and the members have no route of escape. Many terrible things are going on but members are held captive and cannot go out. They have been brainwashed and charmed. Some of those that are GO’s, Bishops, Pastors and leaders in the churches go to idol worshipers to collect demonic powers in order to win elections in the church. They engage in fetish practices to become leaders, presidents, chairmen etc. in their churches or denominations while souls are perishing. The devil has besieged them round about. The devil has taken over the altar. If you have the opportunity to check their body on the altar, you will find charms, amulets and other paraphernalia of Satan. They use charms to fortify themselves and to attack one another. They poison and kill each other. Worst still, there is a great famine of the word of God in their environment, so how do they learn the truth and repent? Unfortunately, there is no way for members to go out because they have been charmed. Their cries have reached the ears of God and He is counting on you to step in and liberate those under satanic bondage in these denominations. Are you willing to take up this challenge on behalf of Jesus?
