TOPIC: GOD’S CHOICE OF VESSEL IS UNQUESTIONABLE
TEXT: Galatians 1:15-17
KEY VERSE: Isaiah 45:4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Nobody can choose for God. Peter was a chosen apostle of Christ. Indeed, he was the “chiefest” of the apostles but something special was in Paul’s calling. Paul acknowledged it and Peter too (2 Peter 3:15-16). Peter was called ahead of Paul, but Paul also had authority over the church. It was the choice of God, which shows the manner in which God operates in the church. God would raise up a man and load him with knowledge for the benefit of others. We see a similar thing in Luke, the beloved physician, who while introducing himself to Theophilus said “Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;  It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.” (Luke 1:1-4).

Luke was saying, “Many people have written account of the gospel of Christ but I feel provoked and inspired to write also this to you Theophilus, because I want to tell you I know the details of these things; I am not in doubt at all; I am fully convinced so I am writing everything in the right order to you, Theophilus. And through my writing you will know the certainty of those things wherein you have been instructed; you will get the gospel message very clear and without any ambiguity. I am writing to you so that you may know these details.” Paul said, “This gospel is committed unto me.” Is it that others never preached it, but only Paul? No! Others are preaching, but the mystery of it, the depth of it, the understanding of it, was committed to Paul. This becomes even more evident in the writings of the New Testament epistles as Paul wrote two-thirds of the twenty-one epistles whereas Peter wrote only two. John wrote only three while Jude wrote just one. Understand this truth: God can raise up any man for His purpose, even he that you consider is least. Paul called himself the “least of all apostles” and “one born out of due time,” but God who raised him up used him exceedingly above the rest. Accept the leadership God has placed over you in Holiness Revival Movement and avoid any form of rebellion against authority, for any rebellion against divinely chosen vessel is a rebellion against Jesus who called them into ministry.

Thought for the day:   You are not in a position to debate God’s wisdom in the choice of vessel.
Song for the day:   When He calls me, I will answer……….

August Tuesday 27th TOPIC: CORRECT WATER BAPTISM TEXT: Mark 16:15-16 KEY VERSE: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The believer requires water baptism. The baptism that Jesus commanded is in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is done by immersion in water because the three Persons are One. In Acts of the Apostles, the people were baptizing in the name of Jesus. They used the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to indicate that the baptism was carried out as authorized by Jesus, and the baptism authorized by Jesus is that which is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is not to say that they dip people in water and say, “I baptize you in the name of Jesus.” The name of Jesus cannot represent the Godhead. The Father is not Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, Jesus is God who be
