GREAT REWARDS AWAIT HOLY AND RIGHTEOUS PREACHERS SATURDAY MARCH 25 TEXT: JOHN 14: 1-3 Key Verse: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 God has decided to reward us for righteous and holy service we have rendered onto Him. You are considered special by God who had chosen you out of the so many men and women in the world. As a bride groom who has decided to take a bride to himself and all that he has belongs to the bride. All that our God has is for us and we will partake in His great treasure. Rewarding service must be done in: (i) Faith- God calls you and will reward you. Do not allow any situation to distract you. (ii) Faithfulness - Do it according to pattern, according to Divine specification. (iii) Humility- Humble yourself so you can perform service unto God. Your position should not make you pompous to the extent that you will refuse to perform service unto God. If another person is assigned responsibility, humble yourself and listen. (iv) Holiness – Clothe yourself with the garment of holiness – as a minister you need it. (v) Suffering- Tell me, which apostle has not suffered? There is reward if you suffered with Him. (vi) Wisdom is a principal thing, seek it and seek understanding also. (vii) Love – let it be the principle on which you work. (viii) Prayer will give you victory (ix) Righteousness and holiness – the little service rendered in righteousness is greater than great one without holiness. (x) Divine pattern- If your service is done with patience in line with Divine pattern, it gives sweet savour to God. The greatest reward is that the Lord is around you in this life and after all, He will take you to heaven. Thought for the day: God will perfect you as you please His heart by winning souls Song for the day: What is the hope we have, the kingdom of God is the hope we have. Bible reading for the day: Joshua 14-15; Luke 4:33-44 #horemow.

August Tuesday 27th TOPIC: CORRECT WATER BAPTISM TEXT: Mark 16:15-16 KEY VERSE: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The believer requires water baptism. The baptism that Jesus commanded is in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is done by immersion in water because the three Persons are One. In Acts of the Apostles, the people were baptizing in the name of Jesus. They used the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to indicate that the baptism was carried out as authorized by Jesus, and the baptism authorized by Jesus is that which is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is not to say that they dip people in water and say, “I baptize you in the name of Jesus.” The name of Jesus cannot represent the Godhead. The Father is not Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, Jesus is God who be

April Monday 27th TOPIC: TESTIMONY OF RESTITUTION OF FALSIFIED RECORDS by Sis Bosede Ogwurike TEXT: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KEY VERSE: Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. After accepting the Lord Jesus as my Lord and personal Saviour as a young girl I so much enjoyed the Lord, but at a particular time in my life I entangled myself with so many sins: fornication, abortions, misconduct in two of my undergraduate examination papers, falsification of age, falsification of results in my undergraduate research project and other sins that later required restitution. This created a big vacuum in my life. I no longer enjoyed the presence of God as before and sometimes when I prayed for restoration and revival, I would hear a voice clearly in my spirit saying, “Go and report yourself.” This I did not
