TOPIC: FOLLOW DIVINE INSTRUCTION AND BE VICTORIOUS
JULY SUNDAY 29th
TEXT: Proverbs 8:32-36
KEY TEXT: Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Proverbs 8: 33
Once Gideon was sure of his calling, he was set for battle. God had told him you will not conquer with many soldiers but with just 300 you will defeat the dreaded Midianite army. Gideon said to his followers, “Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.” (Judges 7:17). Gideon was telling his people, “Do as you see me do because I am doing it by divine instruction and he that commanded me to do it will produce the desired result.” The widow complained to Prophet Elijah, my prophet husband is dead and the creditor has come to ransom my two sons for the debt he owed. Prophet Elisha told her, “Borrow empty vessels from your neighbour.” She did and empty vessels turned into wealthy vessels. Jesus’ mother told the servants at Cana wedding, “Whatever Jesus asked you to do, just do it.” Behold, six water pots filled to the brim turned into the choicest wine for the wedding guests. That is the result of following divine instruction.
Elisha followed Elijah and they came to river Jordan. Elijah took his mantle and smite the river, divided it into two and they went on dry land. Elisha watched it and when he was coming back after Elijah had been taken to heaven, he did exactly the same. Did the river part? Yes, it parted for him because God is behind it. He followed divine instruction. I want to let you know that if you can follow divine instruction, result will follow. Bible says you shall decree a thing and it shall be established. Are you getting a leading to decree healing? Go ahead and decree it, miracle will follow. As you see your spiritual mentor decree in the Name of Jesus and the supernatural take place, do the same and watch what follows. You will see the same God backing you up, your ministry will produce fruit, you will see people blessed, you will see people delivered, you will see people liberated because it is the will of God for them. God will back you up because this agreement is from Him, this instruction is from God, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, heal the sick and open the eyes of the blind. Praise God!
