TOPIC: THE AGENDA OF GOD, THE BEHAVIOR OF MAN
JULY WEDNESDAY 25th

TEXT: Genesis 6:5-6
KEY VERSE: Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. Ecclesiastes 7: 29

God has a wonderful plan for you. He wants to prosper you and take you to a glorious end. Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God wants to give you life abundant, but Satan also has his own agenda, which is to steal, to kill and to destroy every good plan of God in your life. John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. God incarnated as man in the Person of Jesus to destroy the works of Satan in your life (1 John 3:8) and after doing this, Jesus went ahead to heaven to prepare a place for your homecoming (John 14:1-3). Notwithstanding all these efforts and wonderful plans of God, man has decided to gang up with Satan to fight against God. What offence has God committed that He should deserve such wicked treatment from man?  What has Satan promised that God has not promised much more and more assuredly?

Man is following the footsteps of the angels that rebelled with Satan. What did Satan promise one-third of the angels in heaven that they abandoned God and followed Satan? What lies did Satan tell them? What did he use to deceive them? Satan used the same old trick on Eve. Why are you not learning from history? 1 Corinthians 10:11, “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” If the fulfillment of God’s promise is to materialize in your own time, why are you allowing yourself to be deceived by Satan? Do you not know that “The soul that sinneth shall die?” Must you follow Satan to hell? Forsake sin and live a holy life. Resist the Devil and strive for eternal life. Cleanse yourself of all defilements and make yourself ready for Jesus as a beautiful bride. May you receive grace in abundance to run the race of eternal life and finish strong, in Jesus name. Amen.

Thought for the day: Do not join Satan to contend against God who loves you.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
