TOPIC: THE SECRET OF A PEACEFUL LIFE (1) – FEAR NOT!
JULY WEDNESDAY 18

TEXT: Philippians 4:4-6
KEY VERSE: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14: 27

The peaceful life is a qualitative life. It is the life God wants you to have. First of all, God wants you to enjoy with Him, which means you are not afraid of God because of Judgement or condemnation. Rather, you are at peace with God and you think peacefully towards Him. After this, God wants you to have peace with yourself. With a peaceful heart, you are not afraid or disturbed or tensed by any situation or condition. Day and night in every circumstance of life you are peaceful even when there is commotion in the town or obvious danger around you. You will be peaceful like Elisha. When his servant said “Alas! My master what shall we do the enemies has surrounded us,” Elisha was peaceful. The servant was frightened and restless but Elisha said “Lord! Open his eyes so that he might see.” When God opened the eyes of his servant he saw divine presence, he saw superior power, he saw hordes of heavenly warriors surround them and he became peaceful.

God wants you to come to the point that whatever dream you have dreamt will not frighten you.  Even if you dreamt that you died that should not frighten you because the dream is not the end of your life. It is not a reality yet because there is a power that can cancel it, so be peaceful. A man of God was sleeping and the Devil came into the room. He woke up from sleep, looked around and saw Satan by his bed side. He hissed and said, “Oh, Satan are you the one?” And went back to sleep. If it is Satan what can he do? Nothing! He needs the permission of God to do anything. God wants you to come to that level where you are not afraid of the devil. In the world today, a lot of people are scared of witches and wizards. They say “they will shoot their arrow at me.” But God wants you to come to the point where you are no longer scared of those shooting because by His intervention, no weapon that is formed against you will prosper. Therefore, increase your trust in God and be peaceful.

Thought for the day: Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Let not your heart be troubled.
Song for the day: Peace, perfect peace

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
