TESTIMONY OF SUPERNATURAL DELIVERANCE IN A GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT
TEXT: PSALMS 107: 1-16
Key verse: “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!.” Psalms 107: 21

Narrated by a Zonal Coordinator in HOREMOW.

I thank God for delivering me from untimely death on Tuesday 7th August, 2018. I was driving to the Holiness Campground, Kwali, on that fateful day. There were nine other persons with me in the vehicle. As we approached Souka, along Lugbe-Airport Road, Abuja one of the rear tyres suddenly exploded. I lost control and the vehicle somersaulted crashing inside one of the wide drainages dug along the highway. When I regained consciousness, God had brought helpers to rescue us. I was bleeding profusely from deep wounds on the head and my face was badly battered. I praise God for saving the lives of all ten of us! No life was lost! A similar accident occurred around same place the next day and all passengers died. Not a soul escaped! I was rushed to University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, by the Federal Road Safety Officers.

I give thanks to the Most High God for many miracles He wrought for me: Preservation of my life; I did not break any bone! No blood transfusion despite the heavy blood loss; two major successful surgeries by Ophthalmologists on Tuesday night and Plastic Surgeons on Wednesday; Church money for Horemow project in my possession was preserved! My two handsets were recovered in good order over a week after the accident; Divine favour from medical team, from the leadership of Horemow, as the International Director personally visited me thrice in the hospital. Our beloved mummy Linda Rika, the National Youth Coordinator, many Zonal and State Coordinators, Women leaders, Chapter and Unit leaders and brethren visited regularly from within Abuja and nearby States all through my two-week admission, supporting both in prayers, financially and materially.

People in the wards were amazed by such love that they could not help asking “Which Church is this?” Of course the answer was given: Horemow – God’s end time ark of salvation. In addition, there were numerous phone calls from within and outside the Country, and a deluge of comforting messages and prayers from the Social media as well. Finally, I appreciate God for my wife and family members who painstakingly cared for me all through my experience. May the name of the Lord be glorified forever!

Thought for the day: He that keeps thee neither sleeps nor slumbers
Song for the day: He has given me victory, I will lift Him higher, Jehovah...
Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 6-7; John 8:21-36

August Tuesday 27th TOPIC: CORRECT WATER BAPTISM TEXT: Mark 16:15-16 KEY VERSE: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The believer requires water baptism. The baptism that Jesus commanded is in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is done by immersion in water because the three Persons are One. In Acts of the Apostles, the people were baptizing in the name of Jesus. They used the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to indicate that the baptism was carried out as authorized by Jesus, and the baptism authorized by Jesus is that which is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is not to say that they dip people in water and say, “I baptize you in the name of Jesus.” The name of Jesus cannot represent the Godhead. The Father is not Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, Jesus is God who be
