TOPIC: CONTINUE TO BE JUST BEFORE GOD        OCTOBER Wednesday 17th
TEXT: Daniel 6: 20-23
KEY VERSE: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4: 4

There is an assurance to the just that if he continues in righteousness, no matter what happens to him, he shall triumph in life. They that believe in God are the all-time overcomers in life. Life is generally warfare. The battle is between the forces of light and darkness. Before the battle begins, it is already settled that the force of light will prevail.  The winning secret is the righteousness of the saint.  People of darkness cannot be righteous, so they remain the losers. Whatever is the confrontation between you and the devil; whatever is the bone of contention between you and an individual or an organization, if you can continue in righteousness, you will be the winner.  Keep yourself blameless and you shall live.
Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
When the Lord gives grace, He accompanies it with His glory so that shame and reproach organized by the enemy can be taken out of the life of His children.  God is a merciful God and the just is confident that God will arise to have mercy upon him. He believes that God will surely come and save him; that God is a lover, compassionate and merciful. He is ever there and always willing to help His people.
Thought for the day: The Lord will not withhold good things from the upright
Song for the day: His eyes are on the sparrow
Bible reading for the day:
Isaiah 62-64; 1Thessaloinians 5.

August Tuesday 27th TOPIC: CORRECT WATER BAPTISM TEXT: Mark 16:15-16 KEY VERSE: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. The believer requires water baptism. The baptism that Jesus commanded is in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is done by immersion in water because the three Persons are One. In Acts of the Apostles, the people were baptizing in the name of Jesus. They used the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to indicate that the baptism was carried out as authorized by Jesus, and the baptism authorized by Jesus is that which is done in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. It is not to say that they dip people in water and say, “I baptize you in the name of Jesus.” The name of Jesus cannot represent the Godhead. The Father is not Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, Jesus is God who be
