TRUE LOVE IS STRANGE TO THE WORLD

For taking your time study remain blessed.
TOPIC: TRUE LOVE IS STRANGE TO THE WORLD  July Friday 31st
TEXT: 1 Peter 1:22-23
KEY VERSE: 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
God’s kind of love is strange to this world and they are opposed to it. The world is harsh to it but you must carefully preserve and maintain it. You must fight to keep it. You must train your heart to it. In church, in the family and among ourselves, we are to have the God-kind of love. Many things come to block this kind of love because the enemy does not want it. You must reconcile with your brother if you want to promote this kind of love. You must clear whatever has blocked your relationship with anyone. Go to him or her and remove the blockage; otherwise, it will reduce your love to pretentious love. You must summon courage to discuss everything over. When a cloud covers the sun, the sun's brightness is deemed. So it is with the heart of man. You must clear every blockage because love should be without pretence. Refuse misinterpretation of issues. Don't make assumptions of things that are not clear or true. When they told the King of Israel that the Syrians flew, their king did not believe thinking it was a war strategy to capture them but he was wrong. Refuse reading between the lines. Refuse misinterpreting dreams.
Be careful with hearsay. When you hear, hold yourself and don't conclude in a hurry. Be quick to hear but slow to speak. Many things you read from internet are not true. Avoid gossipers. A talebearer separates close friends. Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. As long as the information is not verified, it has become a potential blockage to love. Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21, Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. If Dathan and Abiram had made diligent enquiry, they would not have sunk into hell with Korah. If the mighty men and nobles of Israel had done the same thing, they would not have perished. Even the congregation could not learn from this sad experience. Based on hearsay, all the congregation of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron saying, “Ye have killed the people of the LORD.” They sided rebels against the anointed of God. They incurred the wrath of God and the plague killed 14,700. Be careful, let your love be in righteousness.
Thought for the day: Love in truth.
Song for the day: Jesus keep me near the cross, near the precious fountain…..
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 62-64; Romans 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
