TESTIMONY – MY WIFE’S CHANGED LIFE BROUGHT ME TO HOLINESS MOVEMENT – Part 1

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC: TESTIMONY – MY WIFE’S CHANGED LIFE BROUGHT ME TO HOLINESS MOVEMENT – Part 1 July Saturday 26th
TEXT: Proverbs 31:10-12
KEY VERSE: 1 Corinthians 7:16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

My family and I worshipped at Living Faith Church, Dawaki, Abuja, Nigeria. My wife later stopped coming to church and I asked her why. She said she had joined Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (HOREMOW). I still continued going to Living Faith Church but even as I did, I was living in sin. Over time, I began to observe changes in the lifestyle of my wife and children. Inwardly, I was very happy but I hid my joy. Anytime they told me that they wanted to go for Holiness Movement programme I was happy and would gladly remove money from my pocket and give to them. 1 Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2  While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3  Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4  But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

I started smoking in 2009 and it remained part of my life. I didn’t buy a stick or two, rather I bought in packets and smoked all of it. My wife often talked to me about living a holy life, but I never took it serious. When 2019 December Conference of Holiness Revival Movement was approaching, she told me about it and I picked interest. I kept the programme in my mind as the date approached.  I had a job on my hand so on the day the programme started I went quickly to finish the work. I came back home to take my bath and said to myself, let me smoke before I go since they said the place is a holy ground. I bought a pack of cigarettes, smoked two sticks and kept the rest. I thought to myself, “What will I do with the remaining cigarettes since I cannot smoke there?” So, I gave it to my friend who is also a smoker.

(To be concluded tomorrow).

Thought for the day: A good wife is a treasure to her husband.
Song for the day: Holiness is the beauty of believer, Lord I want to be holy….
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 47-49; Acts 26
#Horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
