LET JESUS COME INTO YOUR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC: LET JESUS COME INTO YOUR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY July Thursday 23rd
TEXT: John 11:1-3
KEY VERSE: Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

In today’s reading text, Jesus was invited into the family of Mary and Martha that He may come and heal the sickness in the family. Even now, more than 2,000 years after, you too can invite Jesus into your family to attend to your spiritual, physical, financial, health, psychological and emotional needs. Why is Jesus the most eminent and qualified Person to bring into your family?

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

These verses show that inviting Jesus means you are inviting the Creator into your family. He knows all about the nature and extent of your problem beyond what you think you know and He knows the best solution to proffer. It is Jesus that founded your marriage and brought your family into existence. He is the one that protects the family from confusion, attack, difficulty and sickness. He is the one that created the family unit and who can keep it together. When you bring in Jesus into your relationships, you will see wonders happen. That marriage you thought would soon collapse will grow stronger and stronger to your greatest surprise. Let Jesus come into your marriage and family, and see the wonders He will do there.

Invite Jesus! He is the Counselor. That frequent quarrel between you and your spouse will soon be over. A woman was given a ball of candle wax to put in the mouth. She didn't know it was a candle wax. She was told that her husband must not see it, otherwise it won't work. Whenever the husband came and was provoking the wife the wax was in her mouth so she just held it fast and would not respond. After the third day experience, the husband’s attitude changed. The woman ran to the prophet and said the thing he gave her worked. She didn’t realize the prophet was only teaching her the act of patience and endurance in marriage.

Thought for the day: Don’t keep Jesus outside your home. Invite Him in.
Song for the day: Come and make my heart Your home, come and be everything I am and…..
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 38-40; Acts 23:12-35

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
