KEEP YOURSELF PURE AND UNDEFILED BY OTHERS’ SINS OR MATTERS – Part 1

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC: KEEP YOURSELF PURE AND UNDEFILED BY OTHERS’ SINS OR MATTERS – Part 1 July Friday 10th
TEXT: Proverbs 4:14-15
KEY VERSE: 1Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
There are some human beings that bring themselves into others people’s matters uninvited. This may appear good, but the holy man should exercise caution, otherwise your holiness will be dented. You might think you are sympathizing with your brother or sister and telling yourself, “I don’t want my brother to be oppressed. I know my sister was treated badly, that is why I came into the matter.” This is good if the Lord sent you, but don’t send yourself. Otherwise, you will not return righteous. Be careful that you don’t get polluted by other men’s sins or matters. Today’s key verse gives us wisdom of holiness. This text suggests to us the following facts:
1. Do Not Quickly Take Sides Because God May Not Be On That Side. Do not quickly take sides with your brother or sister because he or she has an issue with somebody. Don’t do so because God may not be on his or her side. Those who take sides for family reasons, or tribal reasons, or denominational reasons, should know that they may not be doing so for Jesus. You might be doing so because of the natural affection of human beings. You may be playing politics by joining people to fight their cause and you may not end up blameless. The devil may be exploiting your ignorance to pollute you. The Lord is saying, “lay hands suddenly on no man.” This scripture is saying, do not quickly take sides in a matter between two people because God may not be on that side.
2. You Have to Be Warned Because Taking Sides with A Person Might Lead You to Sin. Be warned because the side you are taking may be prompted by Satan, sin, the flesh, backsliding and may result in your defilement and shared judgment. Many have fallen from righteousness because of that and perished. The side you are taking, the position that man is standing, the problem created might be because of that man’s sin and you want to quickly go and stand beside him to defend him? You may be defending a sinner and thereby become partaker of his sin. Therefore, be careful, be warned! Many have dabbled into matters that do not belong to them and perished. Don’t put your salvation at risk.
Thought for the day: Keep yourself pure of other men’s sin.
Song for the day: Who is on the Lord side, I want to know…….
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 1-3; Acts 16:1-15

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
