LOVE AND SUBMISSION AMONG BRETHREN

For taking your time to study remain blessed.
TOPIC: LOVE AND SUBMISSION AMONG BRETHREN    July Monday 13th
TEXT: Psalm 133:1-3
KEY VERSE: 1 Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

God is a God of love and order. God desires order among His people. For this to be so, there must be submission. We know who He is already. He is God of love. To achieve this for His church, we must appreciate, understand and give room to one another, living in peace and unity. God wants to see beauty in His church. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Love is required for biblical unity. When you talk about peace, that can be achieved even where there is no life, like the graveyard peace. God wants the unity of the living; people alive and united. People who have differences in them in height, colour, position and status, yet living in love and unity make God to be happy. When Jesus was to leave the earth, He gave His disciples the commandment to love. John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.

You will see something wonderful about the love of God in the heart of a believer among Jesus and His disciples. They were of different backgrounds and nature, yet the love Jesus had for them was satisfactory so much that when Jesus said he was going to leave them they began to ask who was the greatest to take over. The love He showed to each one of them made even Judas Iscariot think he could take over. Love your brethren so sincerely that there would be no tribal or class differences. We in leadership position should love everyone under us so well that nobody will accuse us of partiality. James and John were brought by their mother to Jesus because she was related to Jesus but Jesus said, it is My Father that gives position not by preferential treatment based on family relationship. As a leader, please love all very well. Do you know how you feel so peaceful in my presence? Show love to make others feel so in your presence too. Let them not feel it is a special relationship with you that determines your love for them. Bible says God is love. Then, if you want God to walk through you, employ love. Don't love in discrimination.

Thought for the day: Love is the fulfilling of the law.
Song for the day: I will love, I will love, I will love……I will love Jesus people….
Bible reading for the day: Psalm 10-12; Acts 17:16-34

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
