TOPIC: HE HAS PROMISED, HE WILL NEVER FAIL
TEXT: Genesis 12:1-3
KEY VERSE: Genesis 12:1 “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee.”
When God met Abraham He told him about a land even before He told him about a child. He told him, “I will take you to a land that I will show thee,” but He didn’t tell him the name of the place. It was in the course of time that place was called Jerusalem. For God that created the heavens and the earth to tell a man “come I will show you a land,” that land has to be great; there must be something peculiar about that land. Ezekiel 20:6 “In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.” For God that created the heavens and the earth to say “I went to spy;” for God whose eyes runneth to and fro over the earth to say “I sort a place, I went to spy and I found a place and I went to them and said come, I will take you to one place,” is a great privilege. May you not miss the inheritance of Christ in Jesus name.
God said I spied the land, it is the glory of all lands. The glory of the land of Jerusalem is espoused in Psalms 48: 1-2 “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.” It means in the whole land of Canaan God is talking about a particular place about which He said, “I will show you a place that I will put My name.” It means when God picked Abraham He was talking about Jerusalem. Psalm 50:2 “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.” Has God not also called you out of the perishing world, out of the corrupt church system and brought you to Holiness Revival Movement, the End Time Ark of Salvation, to prepare you for your journey to heaven? Hold fast and trust God that He will fulfill as He has promised.
Thought for the day: The God who promised is faithful.
