TOPIC: LIVE BY THE WORD, NOT THE FABLES OF MEN
TEXT: 1 Timothy 1:4-7
KEY VERSE: 1Timothy 1:4  Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Colossians 2: 6-8 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Jesus is our Captain; the Captain of our salvation leading us to heaven. Actually, you are also given the responsibility to lead yourself to heaven. That is why the instruction and counsel in the above text is given to you. You are to choose the way you manage yourself having received Jesus as your Lord. You are to continue with Him; get rooted in Him; be established in the faith and in the word of God as you have been taught by faithful ministers of God. You will not live by the doctrines of Nicolaitan and heretic pastors who masquerade as ministers of light (2 Cor. 11:13-15). Paul gave the instruction because he knew himself. He had the word of life and he was sent. He said in Galatians 1:15-16, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by His grace, To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.” Listen to the messages taught by true ministers of the gospel and abound in them with thanksgiving.

The teachings and lifestyle of true ministers of the gospel are testimonies worthy of emulation for holy living. 1Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. Before you came to Holiness Revival Movement, you probably never knew most of these truths. God in His mercy brought you to this light and has given you the knowledge of His truth and your eyes opened to original Christianity. Why then would you allow the power of tradition to still get hold of you such that you will pay more attention to traditions of the church than following the light of God that has be shone into your life? Break yourself from the bondage of denominationalism and focus on heaven!

Thought for the day: Let the word of God guide your life, not traditions of men.
Song for the day:    I not moved by what I see … what I hear … only moved by word of God.
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 90-92; Romans 11:1-21

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
